Even Jewtin said he wasn't going to stop Israel from bombing Iran on the pretext that many 'Russians' live in Israel. He didn't even mean he wasn't going to bomb Israeli missile launchers for attacking a Russian "ally", he meant he wasn't even going to help shoot down the Israeli and American missiles flying into Iran even while they're over Iranian territory.
