How do you feel about strip mining?
Does Kentucky really need all those trees?
All mines should be worked by naked women.
>>519409841It's not right for minors to do it.
>>519409910almost every tree in that picture was clear-cut logged ~ 130 years ago and yes, trees provide habitats for animals, plants, insects, fungus, and help cool the earth and absorb excess carbonit would be a lot hotter without those trees - and it gets hot enough in Kentucky in the summer
toxic and destructive
>>519410918you know the thing about trees? they grow back
>>519409841>>519409841>>519409841>How do you feel about strip mining? It's actually the cheapest way to mine. I love and support it. Part of the Earth must be raped! It's fertile soil must be seeded with tons of steel and diesel.
>>519409841Its zutty af
>>519411262they will never be as wide or tall as beforeand the soil is damaged from the loggingthis used to be a pure pine forest and grew back as broadleaf trees because the fungal balance that pines need to survive was upset
>>519409841Truth be told. I like the trillionire oligarchy's Data Centers popping up all over than strip mining. I'm grateful to do my part for them too and pay 5 times more for my water and electricity than I used to pay.
>>519413484both strip mines and data centers are urritatin'
>>519409952
>>519411262Yeah, but minerals and stock doesn't so you better think about what to do with all the wasted products. Recycling needs to be discussed.
>>519409841not good but better than oxygen potato mining

>>519409841>strip miningyou should do more of it in russia
>>519409841It should be illegal

>>519414431Interesting that this holes could be used for something such as new ways to deal with trash... I mean. Just imagine a factory that shred trash into smaller pieces with those industrial grinders, then the smaller pieces and dip in liquid nitrogen, this freezes the pieces that after that is put on a high frequency shaker plate, this turns every kind of organic waste and non organic waste into a kind of powder that is dumped in that hole after it.
>>519414711Of course the factory also have a liquid nitrogen factory attached to it to keep up with the demand for it.
>>519414811The good part about it is that you don't even have to care to separate material, just dump it all together and let the process turn it into powder. It doesn't matter what. Wheels, rubber, organic, glass, metal, used batteries, all that is crushed, frozen and then shaked. Good thing? Very low risk of contamination cause the nitrogen basically kill every living organism in it. Gotta deal with chemicals though.
>>519414997If you don't want to just fill a hole with thay powder then you can turn it into bricks or even roads if you give it a little mix.
>>519414431All the jews will fit nicely in there.
>>519411262>let's just kill a bunch of animals, insects, fuck migratory paths, feeding areas and disrupt the ecosystem for a few hundred years so we can save the 20 jobs left in a coal mine because 19th century coal power is just so great I like rednecks but coal miners and their lobbyists are fucking stupid.
>>519414711>>519414811>>519414997>>519415283>let's just grind up toxic materials into a fine water-soluble powder so we can get the poisonous leachate from the landfill directly into the aquifer 1000x faster. The power costs of grinding up all that garbage would completely nullifying the economic benefit of having the hole in the first place. Then you'd have to constantly worry about the ground shifting as it settles over time. you might control the leachate with a big ass, multi-layer liner but then your funneling a lot of water into your leachate treatment plant which would have to try and remove a bit of mercury, cadmium etc from a lot of water which would be expensive
it's fine, it's one of those things that because of the scale it looks bad but when you look at the scale of strip mines compared to the totality of nature they are pretty small. Most of them you can't even see from space without knowing where it isfor example >>519414431 is one of the biggest pits and is located in siberia, see how long it take you to find it just by looking for damaged terrain
>>519409841It is how our fathers did it
>>519416994>let's just kill a bunch of animals, insects, fuck migratory paths, feeding areas and disrupt the ecosystem for a few hundred yearsthese animals are worthless anyway so who cares?
>>519418588sounds like someones coping about the fact that their entire country is one giant mining operation. some people actually enjoy nature you know?
>>519409841I prefer to mine with my clothes on
>>519409841Kill trees. Behead trees. Roundhouse kick a tree into the forest floor. Slam dunk a tree sapling into the trashcan. Pour bleach in a trees soil. Judo throw trees into the wood chipper. Toss trees into active volcanoes. Report old trees to logging companies.
>>519420949You are alright Rajneesh. I’d buy you a shit beer or whatever you jeets get fucked up on
im actually a treehugger not really but I think I hate humans and how we destroy this planet, I believe everything works in harmony on Earth besides Man. I worked in excavation for about 6 years I hated destroying the earth. I would drive my team nuts stopping shovels to save little frogs and mammals , just wildlife in general etc. Had to get out of the industry lol. No im not a liberal. ive never voted for anyone technically ive always spoilled my ballot and voted for myself.
Based and can make the land betterJust do it rightT.mine engineer
