On October 15 2025, French prime minister Sébastien Lecornu signed a decree requiring all ISPs to retain connection metadata from all of their users for a duration of one year, starting on October 21. No mainstream media outlet has reported on the topic.

Well, it's fucking over, fellow baguettebros.

From what I read, it's mostly meant to survey certain types of data.
Most notably tracking certain uploads, and whoever recieves them.
Still fucking scummy, as to be expected from this shithole

That will totally not be abused

I don’t know why France keeps voting for more. I don’t know why England keeps voting for more. People are retarded

Most of the population hates it, but do nothing about it, people are now tamed and voice their annoyance but never act upon them.
The country is also highly divided right now, and the potential economical plan for 2026 might actually put food out of some people's mouth, mine included, at this point, ditching for another european country seems a lot better of a solution that hoping to fix this shithole.

It's become a feature of life in the Old Commonwealth for our people to be completely weak and servile as the steamroller drives towards us, because jumping out of the way would be racist or something

It was crazy to me seeing Macron openly say that a civil war would happen if the Communists or Nationalists won

What they tell you and what they actually do are often two different things.
>>
>>519419862
well we obviously didn't vote for that...
it's the same thing everywhere, they say "I won the election so whatever I do is condoned by all of you" despite the guy only having 10% of the popular support...
And when a sufficient amount of people push against something they do it anyway and say "you don't understand, you're too stupid" or "you don't have the will to do what needs to be done"...
In many way we're not in democracies.
Plato already talked about that, it always goes democracy->oligarchy->tyranny->democracy->...
it's a neverending cycle, a constant fight against evil and now is the time for evil, time for revolution and change
but everytime they get new weapons to cling to their power, maybe someday technology will have advanced enough to protect them from what they're owed and they'll cling forever to power

Yeah, and it's so much better for everyone else, right? Just the French dealing with this, not happening anywhere else in the world.

Appeal to fear is the main way he got elected, the famed wall against the alt right is what led him to ruin this country for almost ten years.
The only people adoring him are the rich, and boomers.
It's not really known past our borders, but a few of Paris' mayors even openly brag about the luxurious clothing they can get thanks to public funding.
A few weeks back, a CEO, inheritor of one of the largest companies in the nation openly told people to simply get a job so the country can start paying back it's debts.
All of this while we are facing an insane job and housing drought.
>t.fresh out of college and got rejected at Mcdonalds.

That's the very crooked soul of politics unfortunatly, and it impacts most of the western world, I do feel like Ireland, spain, Italy and portugal are doing good lately though, then again, I don't really look much into their inner issues

All the "you voted for this" retards don't seem to understand there are no viable options in nearly every election. Conservative, liberal, it doesn't matter. No one is running that will actually turn things around.
