In Brooklyn there will be a line of hipsters waiting for hipster tacos and another line of hipster protestors complaining baiut hipsters stealing beaner culture and “gentrification”
>>
It's gonna be magical to see how these dogshit rags spin bread lines.
>>
>>519425163
They're really just talking about bread lines. Americas greatest city is in the brink of collapse. They might elect a jeet Muslim mayor and 25% of the population is homeless.
>>
>>519425163
Why is living in the city supposed to be good again?
>>
I only do this at one particular ramen restaurant that is fucking excellent and always has good service.
Anywhere else if I can't be seated immediately I just bail. Rather eat fast food than wait for forty minutes just wait another forty minutes for a waiter to bring me a coke zero (not even dr pepper zero really) and take my proper order.

Are new Yorkers retarded or something?
>>
>>519425163
Can the vast majority of americans, both male and female, even cook their meals anymore?
>>
>>519426218
Of course they are. New York is objectively a shithole and there's plenty of recovering areas nearby and they refuse to move.
They're a perennial national laughingstock for a reason.

Apartments in NYC don't have stoves. I'm not even kidding.

Anyone got a bingo yet?
>>
btw, I was watching our local news and 150,000 public school kids are considered homeless. It amazes me that Spicland is so bad that people would immigrate to this.

Fucking what? I once lived in a small apartment and the first thing I got when I moved in was one of these small electic ovens to cook meals.
>>
>>519426685
Most American apartments come equipped with a refrigerator and oven, often also a microwave and dishwashing machine.
NYC is notable for having really old, tiny apartments without amenities, meaning tenants have to either buy their own appliances and haul them up stairs, or buy air fryers and such.
>>
>>519426685
The urban bug person doesn't know how to cook or even want to, mostly out of laziness and because spending an hour making a meal is something they consider a waste of time. A lot of them are too lazy even to walk to the restaurant, instead paying like double the already expensive price to have a nigger deliver it to their apartment. These same people, after blowing all their money on food deliveries, weed, alcohol, streaming services and useless baubles, complain about how poor they are. Granted, even if they did stop wasting their money, they'd never own a home, but they're still retarded.

DUDE i just LOVE the hustle and bustle of the new york city, it’s so DYNAMIC and makes me feel like i’m in one of my favourite TV SHOWS. you should totally come on down to my studio apartment, it’s got EXPOSED RED BRICK walls and everything, we can crack open a nice hoppy ipa or three and get crazy watching some cartoons on adult swim! and dude, dude, DUDE, we have GOTTA go down to the barcade- listen here, right, it’s a BAR where us ADULTS who do ADULTING can go DRINK. BUT!!!! it’s also an ARCADE like when we were kids, so we can play awesome VIDEO GAMES, without dumb kids bothering us. speaking of which megan and i have finally decided to tie the knot- literally -we’re both getting snipped tomorrow at the hospital, that way we can save money to spent more on ourselves and our FURBABIES. i’m fuckin JACKED man, i’m gonna SLAM this craft beer and pop open another one!!!

>The urban bug person doesn't know how to cook or even want to
I'm a urban shithead myself too but I always cook my food with whatever appliances I have. The only cooked food that I buy from stores ever is things like a whole roast chicken or other large meats.
>>
>>519427165
Well, you're not a bug person. They don't post here, that's for sure.
>>

>Are new Yorkers retarded or something?
It's a solid blue shithole with a nigger mayor, and on course to be electing a Muslim mayor. So you tell me.
>>
there is a huge queue for some retarded korean tacos. a poor quality of beef thinly sliced on a blob of rice, wrapped in supposed kimchi. the size of a palm for $23 dollars, and the tip minimum is 50% or the hipster diners harass you. beaner cooks btw with a mega-gay korean guy manager
new yorkers claim everything in ny is primo, but nearly all of it is dogshit
>>

NYC apartments are old and tiny. Those are considered a fire hazard. You can only have a hot plate, like a dorm room. When I say this I don't mean all NYC apartments, but for anything less than 1,500 a month it's probably true. You even have communal bathrooms in most these places. Go on Zillow and do some cheap apartment hunting and you'll see this is true.
t. suburbs around nyc
>>
>>519427511
That's because NYC is either nepo babies or 3rd world immigrants. The nepo babies know their expenses won't involve a family or the taxing of their income, which is why they like rich kid socialism Mamdani.

Waiting "on line" ????

Is this a Mandela effect thing, or when did this change?

It was always "IN LINE"

You wait, IN LINE, not ON LINE. ON LINE is a term used for the internet. IN LINE means you are standing IN the LINE. You are WITHIN THE LINE. YOU ARE NOT ON TOP OF THE LINE.

WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE SAYING "ON LINE" INSTEAD OF "IN LINE" NOW??? WHEN DID THIS CHANGE HAPPEN?
>>

Is saying "On Line" instead of "In Line" and "speak on" instead of "speak about" an example of ebonics? It seems like more than that to me.

Truthfully, I have heard people say "speak on [X subject]" for years, and I don't think that is very weird, but the whole ON LINE thing to refer to people standing in line is very strange.

I figure it's just a matter of time until we start using literal foreign translations and we say "Make Line" instead of either in line or on line
>>
>>519429790
You will be saying it in arabic while getting zutted
