I live in Bushwick Brooklyn, where no one has voted for a Republican since Giuliani in 1997. Sliwa signs are everywhere, little to no Mamdani signs. My friends and neighbors have taken to calling him "Iron Curt" because we know he's tough as nails and will fight for us. He just can't say it in Mamdani's politically correct America. People here refer to "Iron Curt" with a certain fondness, like he's a fellow neighbor from town, and remember him living in the Bronx for many years, and most of his life, we speak of Curtis like he's kin around these parts. If Mamdani is losing the Bushwick club scene then he doesn't stand a chance.
