Perhaps each group Irish, Italian, English, German for example could simply move into neighborhoods/cities reflecting the majority of their heritage. The architecture in these cities should be matching the ancestry of the city. In those places the language should be taught as a second language to english. This will increase communication with their ancestors in Europe. Then we could start rebuilding our European heritage instead of losing it like we are now.
