I don't really know what religion I follow I'm still in the process of deciding. But I just want to drop a truthnvke in this thread. Christianity is the most historically sound of the Abrahamic religions. The letters from Paul are by far the most "contemporary" texts in the Abrahamic religions, because historians have confirmed that they were actually written around the time Jesus was alive. This is important because all the other religious texts have shady origins and were written many years after the events took place which suggests they were made up.Historians are pretty unbiased so I trust them more than listening to a religious person advertise their own religion. Get the facts first. Most historians agree that Jesus was real and was crucified as well, mainly because there are literally non-Christian sources from the time that talk about Jesus being real and being crucified. So if a non-Christian was willing to admit it back then, it seems like it is pretty credible. The fact that Paul was actually alive and wrote his letters around the time Jesus was alive also suggests that Paul might have actually known Jesus or he might have actually known people who knew Jesus, which is important because a lot of other religious texts are just randomly written by unverified sources hundreds of years after the stories supposedly happened lol.
