I buy all my beef (grass-fed and certified organic) from a local mom and pop beef farm for $8.50/lb. The have minimal automation and it's literally just a mom, dad and their son running the place.A lot of places we visit will have a big operation going and sell it for $15 or $20/lb while not even being certified. Then the grocery store will try to sell us regular ass beef for $12/lb. It's all just greed.
