Over the last week the EU (and UK) has shown how utterly incompetent it is.
>19th- Propose new sanctions that they have cooked up themselves
>22nd vote and approve these sanctions
>5 minutes later, get calls from all major industry leaders asking them WTF they think they are doing
>2 hours later convene an emergency in London for the 24th

Turns out they are so clueless the sanctions are going to cripple all major industries over winter.
The main issue, LNG.
Their own defense contractors depend on what they have sanctioned and had to point out they cant fulfil orders with them in place.
>>
>>519777763
From Monday they are all having to submit exemptions to Brussels to try and backtrack on what they have implemented.
yup, they are trying to find ways of avoiding their own sanctions because they didn't think of asking anyone about the implications.

Its rumored that the defense contractors had to attend the meeting in London to make it clear what they need to do.

Proof?

The sanctions involved an immediate ban on LNG from russia

https://www.brusselstimes.com/1707644/eu-imported-e4-4-billion-worth-of-russian-lng-in-first-half-of-2025

Industry relies on LNG, you can't take that amount out the supply chain overnight and not expect massive impacts, hence the emergency meeting

Seems all good doesn't it
Except, you can't take that amount of cheap energy out of an industrial system without replacing it
Remember, they all had a meeting just 2 days before to vote on the sanctions, then out of nowhere another meeting was called pretty much immediately after the vote
Not a good sign
>>
>>519779284

No, do you have source for this?

https://archive.ph/mwRWU the vote
>>
The upshot to all this
The EU is now going to have to buy US LNG at a 40% price increase
As you can imagine, the pressure that is going to put on industry is massive
Most German heat intensive industries are already saying they will have to reduce or even halt production
the car industry is pretty much crippled, what with the china bans as well
>>
>>519779842
>https://archive.ph/mwRWU
I don't see anything about a rushed second meeting
>>
>>519780461
the rushed meeting happened 2 days later, yesterday, in London
It was mainly virtual because not many could get there in person
It was called "Coalition of the willing" if you want to look into details
>>
>>519780725
So they did some virtual meeting of their little club which they have been doing for months. Who cares? Ziggers have been saying Europe will freeze this winter for 4 years
>>
>>519780870
I care
I fucking live here
Also its not about heating, its about industry
LNG is essential for all heavy industry, chemical, metal, defense and agriculture and right in the middle of winter they are shutting of 20-30% of supplies
>>
>>519781096
UK imported ZERO LNG from Russian in 2024

>>
>>519781695
Of course they will, LNG prices are going to go up, meaning industrial prices rise, this filters through to domestic energy
The winter is already looking bad which increases prices
We in the UK are looking at 10-15% increase
>>

>Over the last week the EU (and UK) has shown how utterly incompetent it is
Over the last week? It's just icing on the shit cake, they've fucked up quite a few things over the years. If anything this just a white pill, they're too retarded to be the masterminds who anons claim have a contingency on every single scenario
>>
>>519782460
Never invest in oil or gas myself
If you want a stock tip, look into kodal mining, they have just started exporting lithium from mali, its risky but has huge potential
>>
>>519783008
>they're too retarded to be the masterminds
I don't believe many anons are claiming the EU bureaucrats to be the masterminds behind the global kike conspiracy.
Though this kind of retarded shit still puts some doubts on the theory of global kike conspiracy. If these world "leaders" are indeed just puppet with kike arms in their asses, why are they allowed to ruin the entire continent with their stupidity?
Is this just a continuation of the plan to prop east Asia up as the new center of the world while the west declines to third world status or is it a case of there actually being no driver on this global political trainwreck?
>>
>>519777763
We already promised Trump to buy more LNG from America than we consume in total.
>>
>>519783476
The fact that we seeing huge fragmentation on the geopolitical front shows the reality
There is no global conspiracy, its each nation for themselves, as it has always been
In times of plenty, they work together but as we see now, its each for themselves
The EU are trying to hold a unified front but its literally fracturing before our eyes

>>
>>519780210
this is going to contribute heavily to energy inflation here too, plus a higher natural gas to oil ratio which is unfavorable for American industry. only way to mask this is higher oil prices which is what I think zognalds game plan here is
>>
>>519784766

nope. I work in the chemical industry and we've been getting fucked hard for two years now and rising nat gas prices is just going to make things worse. zognald needs to pause exports but he's made such a show out of replacing natural gas volumes with American LNG that he would never do it
>>
>>519785522
listen to yourself
you are as deluded as your ministers
your own FM had to cancel his big trip to China, the reason
They were not in the slightest bit interested in anything he has to say
You laughed at Trump when he pointed out relying on Russian energy was a mistake
Now you are reliant on China rare earth minerals, that have just been cut off
Now you are trying to talk to those people that cut off essential supplies to your industry and they have told you to fuck off
Deluded

>>
>>519785816
that's why I say the only way he can mask things is by raising oil prices, at least all global producers will have much higher input costs rather than just Americans because nat gas is (rather, was) very cost advantaged here

Germany has to choose between freedom from Russia and cheap oil. Cheap oil era is over, and the rest of Europe is done subsidizing Germany's economy.

The EU is fine. Germany is not. Germany cannot afford Ukraine's war, and Germany cannot afford to loose Poland and Eastern Europe because they sent all their industry there. Germans will pay more for Polish coal or French nuclear power and German industries will be forced to modernize or shut down.

Already happened in the US 20 years ago. Oil companies are all run by Jews that work with OPEC nations like Putin and Salman to destroy the white race. The gig is up.
