Why do leftists hate Nazis again? They hate Jews too. Is it because the Nazis killed communists?

>>519778188You can roughly divide the post-liberal enlightenment ideologies between progressive & communists on the one hand and the fascists & national socialists on the other. The communists hated fascists/NS mostly because they believed classes should work together (collaborationism), and the fascists/NS believed the communists existed to turn society against itself and level it. Communists allied with progressives (in the form of 'antifascism') who have their own penchant for leveling and social destruction [see around you]. Since then when now both communism and fascism (&etc) are both mostly fringe ideologies, the mostly just duke it out on the fringes for reasons they probably couldn't even articulate. If it seems absurd that the opinions of communists a hundred years ago have such an effect today, well I'd hate to tell you about the rest of our society.
