Why do American parents treat their children like pets? Most parents won’t even let their kids play with other kids or leave the house anymore out of fear leading to the growing NEET epidemic in America. What’s going to be the end result of this?

Everyone tells me that raising kids is hard and it isn't. Got a 2 year old and he is great. Full of life and energy, sweet, kind, inquisitive and has only ever been sick twice in his life. No vaxx.

Why do I not let him play with other kids? Because other parents are fucking disgusting. The first time he got sick was just before turning 1 - I worked in a school and brought it home. 1 day and he was fine. The next time he got sick, it was for over a week because we spent the night at a friend's house and their home with their kids was filthy. Absolutely vile. And the shit he learned, the bad behaviors? Fucking trash parents.

TLDR; hell is other people.
