>>519801810I just got back from 3 weeks in Japan, going from rural to the large towns, and the claims of it being "over" are all bullshit. Once I left the airport I barely saw any other tourists, except for Kyoto which was overrun (and has measures coming into effect 2026 that will combat this). It was honestly a complete turnaournd from the last time I was there three years ago, where it WAS over. I saw two Indians the whole time, both at konbinis.
