Rural life mostly sucks if you’re young or ambitious. Just the way things are now.

Suburbs are a kind of mix of the two.The only thing is that there aren't many job opportunities in rural areas so you do need to supplement your income by either doing side gigs or by just learning to do shit yourself e.g. hunting a buck or two every year for meat stored long term instead of buying beef every week.
