But still, the fact stands that pretty much EVERYONE either died as a result, or experienced trauma so bad that it made the whole thing not worth it. It also destroyed a bunch of innocent people who got caught in the web of it all. Not a lot of good came out of the decisions made in Breaking Bad. I saw it as more of a warning against that lifestyle than anything.

Because they keep you in line. That way you don't avail yourself of anything you pay taxes for- security infrastructure education, that's govt only duties. Propaganda of the highest order defund police and military. You pay taxes for security first and foremost. Convince idiots to say yeah defund that so you don't get priority 1 of govt operation but you still pay a premium for it. Infrastructure you can't go anywhere anymore, kids can't go out and play, aren't safe at school and just about any other govt functions are done online. You are still paying a premium in taxes but their cheap overseers in the criminal element keep you from using it and the rest you self serve online. Education occurs by law k-12 but virtually no security exists in these govt buildings so kids are extremely unsafe from an armed attacker or other kids- future criminal overseers- so they really aren't availing themselves of quality education, edu dept serves only the union, schools are run by union members serving the unions, and even congress sets student loan rates for higher education, and that interest funds public service employees pensions those union members. You pay extreme premiums on the education front where education has literally nothing to do with the business model. So you struggle in life, think hey something is wrong maybe I'll go out and try to make a difference and a criminal overseer put in place by the corrupt system ripping you off comes to slit your throat and steal your car as you are getting gas, btw getting gas just means you get to ride a few miles while being heavily taxed on every single gallon. It's a perfect system to the bureaucracy. If the overseer gets noticed and thrown into the system it receives even greater funding in terms of trial, attorneys, prison, prison food contracts, mental and medical health, parole, probation, and the overseers repeat their told until they die. Technology to make bureaucracy obsolete overnight is your only hope.
