Children are either raised properly and taught to have critical thinking skills to serve them well in life, or they are indoctrinated into one of the thousands of religions created by mere fallible men.Many of these unlucky children never grow out of this indoctrination, and their mental growth is forever stunted with irrational beliefs in imaginary figmentations.That happens to be most people, unfortunately.Thankfully, religion is on the decline.Eventually atheists will be the norm, and the world can finally become rational, as it should be.
