It dawned on me that no one can reads minds, and everyone had their own thoughts, and all we really know are our thoughts, and then I realized that when I think about Jesus, it isn't really Him, but it is merely my thought of Him. It is only my thought of Jesus that I have known, and not the real Jesus. But then, is everyone I know just my thoughts of them? What about God? Is God just a thought I'm having that made sense based on other thoughts and feelings that I learned from my experiences? Where does that put me now? Is that a higher power than God, or is it God itself, or is it a demon? But if I can't think of God, how will I pray to Him?It's like, I am just a collection of my thoughts experiencing itself in real time, but it's always a reflection of me. So like, when I pray to Jesus, how do I know you're praying to the real Jesus? Everyone has varying degrees of incorrect and incomplete information about Him, so everyone's Jesus is at least a little bit different, and everyone could be wrong. So if I witness to the heathenry, I am not introducing them to the real Jesus, or even my Jesus, but just the convert's vision of my vision of Jesus. I can change the aspects to emphasize, and maybe that's already happened with the version of Jesus I know -- someone distorted Him, each time, like a copy-of-a-copy, until it's degraded, distorted, and has become meaningless.What am I to think now, my brethren?

Your reality is entirely within your perception, and there are two things you can do, you can either try to trust that you can know truth in theory and therefore life has meaning as is meaning at least exists or you can assume complete irrationalism and state that none of your experiences are real and nothing matters which is ultimately the root of true nihilism because you question the very metaphysical basis of reality. But the thing is that FAITH in itself is exactly that, you need to pray and hope, without a leap of faith human existence is literally impossible because every day you wake up presupposing sun will rise etc. If you discard faith entirely then you genuinely no longer have a basis for reality because there is a layer of your self which is ultimately faith based, based on conviction and a decision to follow it. This is why in orthodox Christianity there is such an emphasis on your will, God is self willed he is I Am who (I) Am, his will exists prior to cause and is ultimately sovereign to a point that he is the basis of his own existence.
