So I recently learned about GATE program, weird stuff but you never see any teachers talk about it in threads maybe on this website is some teacher who remember taking part in such thing, my thoughts on it in general are that it was legit attempt to get to know how exactly different is Gen Z than previous generations, the DNA was probably different on some level so it was check to get to know what's going on with these Indigo people.
The teachers wouldn't take part in it. They sent federal workers to administer the program.I am not joking.
I was in it in Minnesota from 1990 to 95, we had 2 teachers over the fiver year period, both were Jewish ladies. I remember the zenner cards, the two pink tablets we would have to eat, the pink fluoride drink in the little cups to poison us. Progressively had trouble doing math after that class, but still wound up a world renowned glass artist. I have a theory a lot of the meme war shit 10yrs ago was former gate kids, and it might not be a coincidence.
>>519841447>two pink tabletsThere is always stuff you gotta eat or drink, do you remember how it tasted?
I heard they were testing for psychic abilities by holding up note cards with a number on the back, facing away from the students, and having them try to guess what the number was. Apparently some students get "lucky" and guess right more than the average consistently enough to seem psychic or something. The most interesting part though, to me anyhow, is how other kids were deemed "negatively psychic", meaning they guessed wrong more often than average. Consistently. It really makes you think about all of those life decisions you made, like about what job you wanted or what school you wanted to go to. Back when we were still basically just guessing. Or like that decision you made to avoid your crush in 6th grade. Any one of those knee-jerk decisions we made based more on a gut feeling than anything. Are we shit at life, or are we just negatively psychic?
