I have been having regular political conversations with my professor regarding politics and history and I asked him why don't the masses in US rebel like they did in Russia, China and Cuba and this was the guy's response. Why do Americans hate any kind of revolutionary talk? Was 1776 their last chance? The so called 'revolution' that just replaced one version of elites with another?

Why the fuck would we rebel when trump is in rather than when Biden let in more than 11m shitskins? Do yuropoors have a single rebuttal?

Does he ignore economic violence and its repercussions, like early cardiac death?

from my country's experience, revolts are based on the collective notion of sacrificing yourself for others to have a chance in a better future
and a population won't revolt unless the majority simply can't live anymore
go blame north america being obscenely fertile and lacking in powerful geopolitical rivals

>Americans have the privilege of being able to debate their professors without fear of having them make your academic life a living hell if you get on their wrong side
Good to know

Do you not know how society works, you zoomer faggot? There are always going to be elites, and if they aren't born of wealth and property, they'll be born of other things.
As for why the masses don't rebel in the US, why would they? Until the last decade or so, they've had it pretty good. And even if there was a rebellion, it wouldn't be of the masses, because American democracy has done a good job of splitting the nation in two and, again, until recently the material state of the average American has been pretty good. Even now, with food stamps going away in a few days, America is nowhere near as bad as Imperial Russia or post-Qing China. Like, even comparing them is an insult to the intellect of anyone who knows even a little about history.
