the weakest link of the dam is the surrounding geology which has been made exponentially less stable by the increased water level by rising and lowering wetting and drying constantly the inherently unstable geology supporting the cliff faces.all you would have to do is cause a landslide to decimate the dam and the geology surrounding it and by nature the river itself.
