Honestly, I'm considering building a small house to defeat the jewpire
>20-40k so 0 or minimum debt
>30-40mins to work, if it's in city center
>1-400$ property tax
>Can self building most things if you have actual trade experience or hire Mexicans as self GC
>Couple of months at most
Yeh, you are not raising a family here but it's worth it from ages 22-early 30s. As all the money you saved on rent and property taxes can go to buying/building an actual 2,000sqft house for a future family. Or if you don't want a family, you get home ownership minus the useless extra 3-4 bedrooms where now you have a free 3k a month to spend or save on anything. This plus flexible work, and you can career hop as a contractor, taking year long sabbatical.
Just find a satellite town of a major city if you have to work in the big-city to build to evade regulations and taxes. If you don't need city job, go as far as you want.

kek, in all do seriousness
if you don't have a bunch of buddies who know how to build a place you are going to be assraped money wise trying to find anyone to build
>>

i built an 800sqft house for $50k in 2020, it took almost a year to do it completelyby myself. you dont need very much money to live if your house is paid for.

My father built our house with his own bare hands and a few 8balls. It was a giant 80s mansion. Yet here you are, looking for someone else to build you a tiny home. What a fag.

If you work a job/hustle, you should have 40k by 22ish easily unless you have to pay for rent. Plus this means no spending money on stupid shit like PCs, cars, booze, girls, etc
Go work amazon part time or something while getting a degree or trade out of highschool.
The people who say they can't are just bumb

nah bro its different though bro its different and nuanced

>>519862453
how did you frame it all by yourself? I get the rest but framing is a two men job.
>>
>>519860261
I thought about it but the thing is every town or city here has a minimum sq. footage requirement of like 1200. A house like in your pic would be allowed only as an ADU attached to a bigger house.

>one person can use multiple doors simultaneously

i framed 8' sections and lifted them by myself. the hardest part by far was hanging sheet rock on ceiling alone without a jack

Got any advice? I want to build an extention on my parents place. All I need are 3 walls and a roof to make it work.

How do I do it/what should I look for when hiring, can I save money doing blueprints myself and if so, how?
>>
>>519862453
Fuck man, I wanna do this, did you work in construction or something? How did you learn to do it?
>>
>>519866540

The current generation is going to have to get used to the idea that the people of the country won't always have a steady improvement in their lifestyles. In the past, we've been able to call them temporary setbacks but after the post-cold war boom ended, it's been going downhill for most Americans.

We are now returning to a world where many nations are engaging in trickery to improve their own place in the world. Don't hire illegals. They'll rob you and you won't report it, sucker!

We may still be the lone superpower but we cannot police the world. We can only learn to go back to living within our means. Globalization isn't improving our situation.

When it comes down to it, a country must be able to protect their borders during the transition from a peacetime to a wartime economy. We really don't know what that requires anymore. We do know that we CAN move to a wartime economy quickly. WW2 proved that. What we really don't know is how long it will take to move our citizenry to adapt to new surroundings and doing jobs without depending on others to watch our backs.

I'd propose that small houses ARE a good start for young people who want the freedom and respectability of being a property owner. The catch here is the companies need to start thinking in terms of employing people in lifetime careers. That means that there needs to be room to move up without being silently excluded in the nepotism/patronage shuffle. That means not profiling your job applicants by their financial debts which are bad if you're single or an unmarried parent and good if you're a male parent.

I'd only advise people to go this route if they are confident in their economic stability. You don't have to stay there forever, but you do need to plan for more than a mortgage. Most of the family men won't tell you about those things because they instinctively like to prey on the weak and acquire things in a fire sale when you fail. The small house isn't as tempting

Bro just get one of these colossal 8 room tents for $200, set it up and move in same day, then you build a wooden exterior frame around it, put a sheet metal roof on it and wattle and daub the sides.

You are literally pulling arbitrary numbers out of your ass for something that is incredibly location specific. Even if you find "housing" for extremely low prices, you still have a shitton of other expenses and problems that go with it. You need to worry about purchasing land, seeing if that land is compatible with your Amazon shack, finding the the time to build it, finding someone to build it, not violating any regulations while you're building it, hoping that the material for your ultra cheap home is all ok, and then, when it's time to resell, hope that there's still value to be had and it isn't just a tear down. None of this will keep costs under 50k. A down payment for an actual home is 20k to 40k, and that's on the absurdly cheap end. And most early twenty year olds are lucky if they are working, let alone anyone else in the US. Saving up 40k using (the market) minimum wage is fucking retarded and a waste of time.

I'm all for solutions to problems, but realistically, making your own home is something that requires a LOT of resources, and cheaping out on housing for yourself is a bad idea. It's not even worth the stress if you don't have time for a project like this and don't know what you're doing. It's like blindly suggesting condos or trailer parks as alternatives to homes and never mentioning the lot or HOA fees, these are serious costs and considerations to be had when it comes to expenditures.

would advise not to live out in the country. a lot of small cities/towns are going to die in the near term, along with schools and other stuff associated with the baby boomer population dying off.
>>
>>519860261
Fair warning anon, though it seems like a simple plan- it’s expensive to look that cheap and don’t discount how lonely the lifestyle can be if you don’t have a partner.
>>
I bought a 1400 sq ft 2 bedroom on a half acre and I sincerely wish I had just built a tiny home instead. In fact, I think about just demolishing this one and building a small cottage.
>>
>>519860261
Mexicans do this in Texas all the time. Whites are defeated by lack of ingenuity and persistence.
>>
>>519868459
It depends where specifically you’re buying and what your career ambitions are honestly. I’ll grant that true rural usually doesn’t make sense except as a getaway.
