On January 29th, 2022 while the Freedom Convoy arrived in Ottawa, a group of approximately 100-200 Albertan patriots blockaded one of the main Alberta/Montana border crossings. The RCMP set up roadblocks all around to attempt to block further supporters from showing up, and in one case was unsuccessful as patriots simply drove around them to head to the border:

Being well supplied and their numbers growing, the RCMP sent in undercover female agents to psyop/false flag criminal activity. Once they had sufficient cause, they arrested a few guys for "plotting to kill RCMP" and seized a cache of legally owned weapons from a nearby farmer, claiming it was weapons the protestors were planning to use them to kill cops. The false flag was successful in that the protestors lost the will to keep going and surrendered.

Clearing the blockade of trucks proved difficult for the RCMP as all local towing companies refused to assist due to their reputation being damaged once the local truckers learned they assisted the police.
