An Indian exchange student in Greece entered his dorm room at age 18 and left it at 40.

According to Mr. Athanasopoulos, the dorm manager, the Indian found various excuses every time there was an attempt to remove him to make room for a new student. He claimed that he did not have enough money to return to India and so he continued to live freely in the dormitory bed!

In the end, the community was forced to run a fundraiser to collect enough money for him to return to India
