Do you still support Trump?
>>
>>520080084
I never supported Dumpf. Imagine wanting someone with six bankruptcies running the country. Fuck that.
>>

This is probably 2009. She is old and fat now, anons. It's been ~16 years.

>>
>>520080084
Yes, but the initial excitement has died down and there has been a lack of progress towards campaign promises. No overhaul in the food industry, no Panama canal, and most importantly, no war being waged on drug making beaners. We need to invade Mexico and neutralize these beaners.
>>
>>520080084
Yes, actually. He has exceeded my expectations.
My main hesitation with him was that he was promising to give foreign students green cards upon graduation. Combined with him not really doing shit about immigration in his first term, I didn't believe that he was going to take deportations seriously. I actually didn't vote for him because of this.
With 2 million illegals gone and the H1b visa changes, I am very pleasantly surprised and support Trump. I think he's doing a good job.
>>
>>520081486
Genuinely how did your life get better because 2 million people got deported? Also I don't believe he deported that many illegals.
>>
Voted 5 times for the man, would again. The lack of a day 1 peace in Ukraine was sorely disappointing, however.
>>
>>520081960
>Genuinely
Before I answer, just curious, are you gen z? I noticed that gen z love using this word anywhere they can

Well, about 1.5 million of that 2 million is from self deportation. To directly answer your question, my life is better because the country is becoming whiter, and that makes me happy. I like to be around my own people. I like not having increased competition for jobs, wages, housing, energy, and other limited resources. I feel uncomfortable and unhappy being surrounded by people outside my racial group.
>>
>>520080084
I've only voted for Ron Paul.

ive never had a papaya. maybe i should before i die. ive had dragonfruit. it was fairly flavorless but the texture was kind of cool from all the seeds. ive also never had starfruit, but theyre like $6 at the store and look like theyd last about four bites.
>>
>>520082135
So it's just about your feelings and nothing actually practical. Okay.
And no I'm not Gen Z, I'm Millennial.
>>
>>520082603
Decreased competition for jobs, wages, housing, energy, etc. isn't a practical reason? There is no emotion involved in that.
>>
>>520082743
I'd love to see stats to back those claims up that we have more job, housing or whatever else opportunities now because of deportations. Personally I'm not a house cleaner or janitor so my competition for jobs weren't immigrants.
>There is no emotion involved in that.
If it wasn't about emotion your first and biggest point wouldn't have been about your feelings. And if you cared about the stuff you listed, deportations wouldn't be the most practical way to get there.
>>
>>520083255
I’m a software engineer and my industry is flooded with H1b holders. Increased labor supply directly makes it harder for me to find a job, and it puts downward pressure on wages. H1bs hurt labor rights and unions because holders will put up with terrible working conditions out of fear of deportation.

Do you disagree with the premise that lower demand on limited resources decreases the price on those resources? If so, why? Housing has examples in rural Japan or Italy where depopulation was observed.

I have emotional and logical reasons for my stance. Both are valid. I want to maximize my happiness.
>>
>>520084147
Doesn't matter. Trump doesn't care. The super wealthy want to be wealthier and using cheap labor is a way to reach that goal.
>>
>>520084579
Yes, I completely agree. Ultra wealthy people wanting to accumulate additional wealth are the root cause behind mass immigration. Hence, me not voting for a billionaire with a track record of not doing shit about immigration.

Well, he won, he’s president, and it seems like he is actually making a difference. I support the president because immigraton was my top issue.
>>
>>520080190
I voted for that.
>>
>>520080084
It's not like there was a better choice.
>>
>>520080084
Never did just look at him. That's not enough?Listen to him talk for about 3 minutes. Truly impressive that the Democrats lost this moron. Twice.
>>
>>520080084
She has tits...
>>
I like Trump more now than I did earlier this year
>>
>>520081960
>Genuinely how did your life get better because 2 million people got deported?

not that anon, but I live in Los Angeles
>>
>>520084147

Aren't software engineers in the US the most paid out of any country? If there's wage suppression, how are you quantifying it? And how are you so sure you'll get have access to those "former H1B" jobs? What prevents companies from setting up shop in other countries to get access for cheaper+better skilled labour? From an employer's perspective, what prevents the value of US roles from dropping as it loses its talent as a global hub? Also, do you take into account the taxes that H1B workers pay that fund social programs that they'll never use? Or are you OK with losing those added funds to the likes of social security?
>>
>>520080084
No.
Reason: Jared Kushner. Trump part 2 is just him simping for Israel. Don't care about fake mass deportations or other distractions. Massie is right. Paul is right.
>>
>>520080084
Now is a good time to do morally questionable things because the Gaza genocide is still in play and blood is still being spilled in Ukraine.

I don’t know if Trump is willing to spill blood in Latin America, but I know that now is a good time to push for more bloodshed.
>>
I think Trump is serious about being anti-drug, because he is not a drug user. Also, I know he is not a religious man.

So, bloodshed in Latin America feels like the correct play.
>>
>>520080084

He is a bit awkward at times.. I am born the same day as him, and it was fine until some people noticed.

Mind you, he is also born the same day as Che Guevara which is at the other extreme of the political spectrum.. It's somewhat ironic.
>>
>>520090432
Someone that's so into McDonald's can't be anti-drugs. It's all a distraction from Epstein files.

Also, morally questionable? Trump has no morals. I think his autism is preventing him from seeing right and wrong. The way he looks at Central/South America is the same way that China looks at the South China Sea (e.g. 9-dash line). I bet Trump sees whats happening over there and thinks "Hey, why don't we do that, too?" Cue "Gulf of America" BS, which lays the ground work for future territorial claims.

I'm pretty sure Trump wants Gaza and Ukraine conflicts to continue, because he'll point to those as examples of things "US should be able to get away with, too."
>>
>>520080084

Bro can be POTUS from 2028 and beyond. I'm legitimately not seeing anyone else I trust to lead the country stepping up to the plate. Democrats fucked up HARD running Hillary, Biden and Kamala back to back to back. How am I supposed to trust that kind of play calling? They would have had better luck drawing the names of random people out of a hat. The GOP sucks ass without Trump. George Take the L. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney? Really my nigga? Then they wanted Ted Cruz? The man who looks like a token Disney character with Down's syndrome? THAT Ted Cruz? FML, just give Donny the crown and scepter, we could be doing a LOT worse than him.

>thinking people will admit they were wrong

The truth doesn't matter in america
