Do animal rights activists have a point or are they just retards?
>>
This movie was literally made with USAID money. Part of globohomo's degrowth strategy.

Trans rights

They do have a point in that to be needlessly cruel to animals is barbaric.
They dont have a point in saying that animals shouldnt be ate, thats just nature. But no need to be cruel about it.
>>

both

We trooning out cows now too?
>inb4 thats called a steer.
>>

>Treating animals like human beings
That is their problem. Animals are beneath us. That is why we can have them as pets. If vegans use that logic that animals deserve the same rights as people do, then keeping animals as pet is just as bad, if not worse than just slaughtering them. They are exploiting these animals for their personal entertainment.

>"But I take care of mr mittens!"
A gilded cage is still a cage.

>keeping animals as pet
if you think logically about that its fucked up
>separate from parents, siblings, family at young age
>often sterilized or castrated
>living separated from your own specie
>your living depend on whims of your owner
>practically living in a cage or cube and you get some walk sometimes

they do but it's difficult to have these sorts of discussions by Text, I've tried to do so before and end up hitting the bump limit

>but she's "human" and farm animals aren't "human" so we don't have to grant them rights

https://philosophicalvegan.com/wiki/index.php/NameTheTrait

This dialogue tree has been used by vegans many times in live debates, (feel free to comment on one of their videos, email them, message them on Instagram etc to challenge them to a debate on NTT )

If someone says it's okay to kill a animal and turn them into a burger but not okay to do that to a human and the reason they give is that animals can't reason but humans can they'd have to bite the bullet and say it's okay to turn severely permanently mentally handicapped humans who can't reason into burgers. Or go vegan. Or name another trait(s)

A single individual choosing to purchase meat or not purchase meat DOES make a difference. Individual boycott means the difference between life and death for between 1-900 chickens
Lots of evidence of this

I know individual consumer boycott does make a difference in sparing chickens lives Like in the first five minutes of this video https://youtu.be/brKhhZlUoOc?feature=shared
he discuses a study that shows the average consumer has a 90 something percent chance of causing 1 - 900 extra chickens to be bred into existence tortured and killed.

I somewhat agree, many pet owners feed their animals the corpses of hundreds of other factory farmed animals

>If vegans use that logic that animals deserve the same rights as people do, then keeping animals as pet is just as bad, if not worse than just slaughtering them
Yeah pets are one of the easy litmus tests to figure out how blindly trendchasing a vegan is. If the vegan in question doesn't start squirming and sighing or doesn't raise an eyebrow at you when you bring up the subject of pets, honey or bivalve molluscs they aren't worth even talking to.
>>
>is there any logic behind not wanting to horrifically torture and slaughter 50,000 animals per hour every single day 365 days a year?

no, little chud theres absolutely zero logic behind it at all
>>
>>520231283
I think animals deserve "some" rights but soÿ faggots push it too far and create a lot of cringe ass laws. The only right animals should have is the right to a quick death, and if you're killing it is to get a resource out of them like food. No animal should be subjected to prolong suffering even if you're eating it.
>>
>>520233104
If causing animals suffering is bad then allowing them to experience well-being is good.
We shouldn't end their lives early and deprive them of years of future happiness
>>
>>520231283
Factory farming is demonic, they're right about that much.
There's no need for it. It's just a "cheap" way to produce meat. Animals can be raised outdoors just fine. Just reduce food waste and stop feeding africans, then there is plenty to go around without resorting to automated slaughterhouses.
>>
Hindus actually made me hate cows. Im not joking
>>
>>520233377
>causing animals suffering is bad
Never said that. Prolonging it unecessarily is bad. There's nothing "bad" about consuming an animal. Where Im supposed to get my proteins? Plants? You know plant protein doesn't have all the necessary amino acids that muscles need to grow right? Furthermore why would we humans, which we evolved for years to be omnivores will give up eating meat for faggotry reasons? Didn't seem to work for the pandas.
>>
>>520231477
Right? Abortion alone killed more people than all wars in history combined...
>>
>>520231598
>But no need to be cruel about it.
It isn't so bad if think of CAFO farming as cities for animals
Won't you open your heart and think of the profits?
>>
>>520233859
>You know plant protein doesn't have all the necessary amino acids that muscles need to grow right?

Many plants like so y do.

>Never said that. Prolonging it unecessarily is bad.

Necessary for what? Health? Happiness? Necessary means nothing
>>
>>520233435
The purpose of factory farms is automated ritual sacrifice, they DELIBERATELY make sure that the animals watch the ones in front of them die in order to DELIBERATELY cause stress create the animal equivalent of adrenachrome which is in the food you eat because of this purposeful practice and it causes cancer.

The more you know
