they have thrown them under the bus within the recent 5 years and squeezing them dry like a lemon.
Plus the EU in their idologically driven suicide is finnishing itself off, of what remains of the dry husk that it is.

Goymoney is finnishing itself off with bravado, all metrics crumble war faster than expected, and they still continue with deindustrialization and deenergization, and they keep pushing forward imposing such laws inside to the EU to make everyone the same.

>He clearly did, you don't hear much of jews past Stalin's great zhidoslaughter
Of course. That's because jews aren't retarded and they went "underground" in SU. They were kept out from what Soviets considered as "important" positions - top military, scientific, and party roles. Thus jews went all in on the arts and entrenched themselves in ballet, classical music, and cinema. You'd think Soviets would have known to expect this from Germany's history, but I guess not.

You're Austrian so maybe you can answer this.
Did you hear about new (??) laws coming into effect in Germany that ban majority of wood burning stoves that some Germans still rely on for heating (or at least for reducing their energy bills) unless said stoves undergo expensive modernization?
Is this as bad as some Germans were making out to be on /pol/ some weeks ago or a nothingburger? Legit curious.

>There will be a massive mountain of bodies before it leaves if it does invade.
Do I agree the US can bomb Venezuela? yes.
Do I think the US can invade Venezuela? yes.
Do I think the US public can stomach the *inevitable* 4k drone videos of GI Joe / Jane getting eviscerated? Not at all. To defend the US? Sure. To just randomly attack Venezuela out of nowhere? No freakin way and not even the biggest lies about Venezuelan drugs will give the US public the courage to bear those losses.
The US social contract about international affairs is that the US public doesn't really know or care what happens overseas.... as long as there aren't lots of coffins coming back home. The entire US military doctrine, up until the Ukraine conflict, was geared towards that end - lots of drones and standoff weapons, specops operators, snipers.... insane lengths to make sure that US blood was never spilled. As empires go, it's probably the most squeamish and soft in that regard, in all of history.

In Afghanistan the "NATO allies" barely came to cook some goulash. They were completely useless.
The vassal in Afghanistan was the Afghani government itself, which was at war against the Taliban for years already. The USA joined an ongoing civil war and chose a side as its vassal.

You don't have that in Venezuela.
Unless all the Western media is right and there is actually a majority in Venezuela that just waits to topple Maduro and submit to the USA, which would rise out of the shadows to fight for America.
But that isn't very likely. There are lots of things Maduro does wrong, but that guy REALLY knows how to stomp zogbots and its assets.

>Did you hear about new (??) laws coming into effect in Germany that ban majority of wood burning stoves that some Germans still rely on for heating (or at least for reducing their energy bills) unless said stoves undergo expensive modernization?
I can answer for him.

Wood stoves for central heating that work on natural ventilation (hot air going out of chimney) get outlawed in areas.
Instead you need a wood stove that has active ventilation, so it has a fan built in that controls how much air goes in, which results in better efficiency. But in exchange, it needs electricity.
That's why it is limited to central heating, because a central heating unit needs electricity anyway, you need to pump the heating water through the pipes.

If you have a wood stove that is not central heating, you are fine.

btw. last month i sold an old wood stove for central heating, that doesn't have active ventilation, to a guy from a part of Austria where those are outlawed.

The old stove of the poor guy broke, and all the once with ventilation are super large and don't fit into his basement, so by law, he would be required to build an extra heating house shack. So i sold him one i had, which was only nine years old.
He was very happy.

Not coping about it, just being autistic.
If you are interested, there are two types of such behavior:
1) Kontraktiks bully conscripts on themselves, just because they want to, for fun, which is rare to be honest. They just want to go home as soon as possible and are usually former conscripts.
2) Kontraktniks bully conscripts because it was lower officers order. As way to make them obedient usually.
Basically NCO's are pit-bulls on officers lash.
In the units consisting mainly from kontraktniks everything is different, usually an "Officershina" happens, this is when officers abuse their powers and USTAV in the most absurd way you can imagine, while still using most loyal nco's as their fighting dogs.

The inner politics in the lower ranks of the military is hell desu, but the excesses as you mentioned are not so wide spread, because once exposed, it's an armageddon for the whole unit, Everybody want's to fuck the commanders ass: military prosecutors, military investigators, and FSB.

T. former sergeant

Thanks!
It sounds like if I have a classic fireplace (single room) or a modern passive vent wood stove like picrel then the law does not apply? Even if said wood stove is in my basement and thus helps heat the first floor (but it's not connected to a system of vents to distribute hot air all around the house)?
Anyway, that sounds somewhat reasonable...

Where I'm located there are ongoing efforts to ban any natgas appliance for new construction/renovation. So no more natgas water heaters, gas stoves, or hot air furnaces but 100% electric. You can easily see the problem of how fucked someone would be if electricity went out ever (and especially in winter). I hate it.

I actually think they won't land troops. At most they'll try some specops stuff to capture / take out Maduro and even then that'll be super risky. Pretty sure Maduro knows to stock up on the tunnels, loyal guards and body doubles. And to rile up the people so they come out against any invasion

I never served, but I hear the same complaints from USA. Less illegal stuff (pretend you don't know about all the rapes of women that happen on base) and more petty shit that will drive you insane.
Also because career officers live with their wives on base you sometimes get civilian entitlement with shit like
>"Address me by my husband's rank"

Tangentially related... I read Pavel Filatyev's book "ZOV" when the SMO started. I am sure you have opinions on him and the book, but I have one specific question from what I read: is it true that at one point MoRF would give out high officer ranks to civilians just to attract doctors/nurses to serve in the military? So you can have some fat nurse bitch who never served still outrank a soldier who did multiple tours?

You can easily see the problem of how fucked someone would be if electricity went out ever (and especially in winter). I hate it.

this is an ongoing this here, they are trying to basically ban all natural gas appliances, especial central heating boilers. Vieanna wants to achive this by 2040.. not realizing you can't just repalce every fucking central heating system with a fuckign heat pump... especail they need power... LOTS of POWER.

And the best joke about that, because they are reducing the natural gas consumption they are increasing the prices for the gasgrid... because they are using it less... at the same time they increase prices for the electrical gird... because its used more... its a fucking feedback loop that is purely caused by fucking idologically politics that fuck people with increased prices.

The worst part is... they are demolishing the gas grid, instead of convervating it, they just plain up destroying it. Its the same outragouse idiotic behaviour the goymoney does.. just on a littel lesser scale.

Small stoves for one room or even for cooking aren't getting outlawed.
in fact, they get shilled. Because the EU governments are shitting their pants about future electricity outages (think about that Spain + Portugal outage or a war scenario like in hoholland).

Even with gas stoves i am sure you can find an allowed application if you go the "but what if there's an outage" route. All the camping vehicles have gas stoves as well. It's probably just some "no central heating" or "no fixed installation" stuff, but i don't know anything about that.

I went to a my Political PARTY gloryhole yesterday. I legitimately have no idea who or what sucked me.

I'm straight but I'm spending this Valentine's day alone after my divorce and I haven't had sex in almost a year. (Divorce was finalized 4 months ago.)

Well I've been really horny and lonely so....

I decided to take a shot with it because why the fuck not. I went there and awkwardly said the code phrase to the cashier. She opened the door to a booth that had a "closed for maintenance sign on it." The room next to it had the same sign. I went in and she said "Have fun." There was random gloryhole porn playing on the tv in there and of course a hole in the wall.

I was anxious and the thought of there being a dude freaked me out so I didn't peek to see what was on the other side. As I unzipped I saw a tongue come through the hole and wiggle around a bit then back out.

Someone was definitely there. I felt like I'd come too far and I was super horny. I went over and put my dick and balls through the hole and almost immediately a hand grabbed me and started rubbing lube on me and stroking me. Eventually after I got hard from the handjob they started sucking. Honestly they gave me the best blowjob I've ever experienced. Eventually after maybe 10 minutes I knew I was going to cum (apparently the etiquette for this is you knock on the wall) so I knocked and I felt their hand squeezing my balls and my entire cock was swallowed as I came. They kept sucking for a long time and I felt my eyes cross. Finally they finished and kissed my tip so I pulled back. After catching my breath and collecting myself, dealing with the post nut clarity and shame I zipped up and left
I feel super nervous about it and I'm going to get tested for STDs to make sure I didn't catch anything. I don't know if it's something I'll ever do again but it was really good aside from the worry about STDs, the shame and worry about whether it was a dude or not because I honestly don't know.

I have family in California that is trying to electrify hard, including money spent encouraging people to buy EVs. The problem is that most """green""" electricity is generated in south california where it's sunny, but a huge chunk is needed in northern california. The state is ~800 miles long north-south. So for them it's not just problems keeping up with generation, but also problems with power transmission network.

Oh, did I mention that most multi-unit buildings do not have an electrical panel rated high enough to accommodate all the new electrical usage (appliances, heating, water and charging cars) and that upgrading them costs 10s of thousands of dollars?

I like fresh air and clean water as much as the next retard, but the "green revolution" is sounding more and more like a suicide cult, desu

>Is this when COs abuse enlisted by forcing them to do unpaid labor, stealing their wages, and the like?

No, there different layers of delinquent behavior in the military and it's viewed differently inside the system.
I will place them on a tier list from the softest to hardest.

Tier 1: unpaid labor outside the service, usually compensated by the benefits on service, especially if the soldier is skilled.
Viewed neutrally, it's a deal, but can result in criminal prosecution if exposed, which never happens.

Tier 2: Small schemes, resulting in financial profit. Usually involves gasoline or food provision, sometimes inventory.
The financial damage on the low ranks is not great, but viewed with an extreme negativity by almost everyone, so snitching is expected. Poor criminal geniuses have to use mafia-like methods to remain safe. Results in criminal prosecution really often, but they are legion and where one falls a new one stands.

Tier 3: Big schemes, organized on the level colonel and above, damage is either huge or you will never know it happened, because they stole some shit you'd never thought you'll get. Viewed with extreme negativity, but usually everybody who could care, is in a cut.

Tier 4: Let's beat the fucking money out of the fucking moron. If organized by churkas or local mafia cosplayers results in a big criminal case in a year or so with their faces IN EVERY military unit placed on the boards around the country.
When organized by the officers or in special conditions can lead to the things like Puzik's case.
Viewed with extreme negativity no matter who started it, people will snitch even under the death treats.

Everything else can be derived from these tiers basically.

>Also because career officers live with their wives on base you sometimes get civilian entitlement with shit like
>"Address me by my husband's rank"

>The European Commission is confident in a deal allowing the UK to join the EU's SAFE defence procurement programme. The deal will be finalised by mid-November, ahead of the 30 November deadline for member states to submit national rearmament plans under the €150 billion loan scheme. Talks since this summer aim to treat the UK like an EU member, enabling joint procurements with European countries, though without access to EU loans. A key issue remains the UK's financial contribution. SAFE requires 2/3 of financed purchases to be EU made. Australia and Canada have also shown interest.

the point about renewables is that they save money and resources, to deny this or to be against renewable energy sources is silly and self-destructive for a nation

It is bad for people who have an old stove that can't be replaced anymore.
The units the government wants you to buy, are five times larger and cost more than a new car.
Lets say your stove gets wrecked because the kettle cracks... this would bankrupt an average household. The average person doesn't have 40 grand to spare and an insurance doesn't cover that.

The people who build new houses and new shit, they are fine.
They always are, because politicians love to invest in new houses to sell them for profits :)

>is it true that at one point MoRF would give out high officer ranks to civilians just to attract doctors/nurses to serve in the military?

When it comes to doctors, there are two types of them, career military doctors, who are the officers and civilian workers, if you are adequate, you will never have issues with both of them, besides military medicine in general being on the side of your commander, not you, in every case possible.
The truth is, if you are an officer "from the courses", you will never be perceived as a true officer by almost no one.
So for example, I'm a sergeant and have a BA in engineering, I'm eligible to attend short courses and become a lieutenant. The problem is, nobody is going to respect my rank and I won't get any real promotion later on.
Now the joke becomes even worse, since I already have BA, I'm not allowed to study in the military university for a full course, so there are no ways for me to actually become a "true" officer in the eyes of the military. Although, this is all not official.

So, because these people know that nobody respects them, they tend to bitch around trying to prove themselves worthy this way.

welcome to germany, were all the energ yis created in the north via off shor wind power (when they wind is actually blowing) and the energy is needed in the south...
They want to invest (way to late) billions in the the grid, but don't realize when no wind is blowing or sun is shining (which it does several week a year, esepcail now in teh winter), no matter how large your grid is you still don't get any power.

All that shit is happening because actual capable people are not in positions anymore were they have shit to say, they are all given to cronies and ideologues... the current head of the german power grid agency was put there by the green party and is still loyal to them and is pushing the agena forwards, the best thing.. a few years ago the german constituional court ruled that this position doesn't have to adheard to politics, meaning he can do his own shit, regardless who is in power...

This fucker is telling the industry in germany they have to adept and only produce when there is power... also people have to be more flexible and "transform"... so if there is excess wind at 2 AM in the night wagie is going to have to go to work. In the first step they already have removed the discount for industrie that need large ammounts of power constantly... which if fucking retarded because it ruins you base load, thats exactly why they had this discounts in the first place.

All this retarded policies have lead to the fact that germany now has by far the highest cost for power in the EU and it will get worse.

I'm sure Tier 1 happens in US, but if so it'll be hard to find out unless consequences of disagreeing with such a "deal" get out of hand.
Tier 2 has always happened and will always happen in militaries.
Tier 3 the difference is that instead of stealing outright high ranking COs will take essentially bribes (often in form of high paying "do nothing" jobs in MIC after leaving service) from defense industries to shill whatever weapons those companies want to sell even if those weapons fail to support the mission. This is largely hated by enlisted, but no one can do anything about it because it's almost technically legal.
Tier 4... only stuff comes to mind are rapes by US servicemen. Thankfully something as bad as nigger gangs beating up other enlisted is incredibly rare, but maybe I just haven't lived long enough to hear.

Pic related,
Grid condition in Spain at the time the grid collapsed and whole Spain, whole Portugal and parts of France went offline.
The grid was only able to recover after the sun set, when all the solar power was gone and not blasting shit into a broken grid anymore.

Renewables are good for a single household, when that single household can consume that energy itself.
As soon as you have a massive amount of solar power blasting into the grid at full power at 12:30, and then being completely gone at the evening, you have an unstable grid that is a total pain to maintain.
>>
>>520287812
ha you have no clue about quality rating of energy sources. Electricity is the highest form of energy that can basically be transformed into everything, from light, to movement, to sound, power electronics (and is the only source for that) and much more.
for heating you should use the lowest quality of energy that only can be transformed into simpler things. You only can transform gas into heat and light( a bad one at that).

So heating with electricity is the most imbecil thing to do, only green retards advocate fore that.

>batteries
Make sense in a single household.
You can install one 10 kWh battery in your basement and it would cover your energy. Or you have an EV that can take it.
On a national level, you can only do large scale things like a pumped storage hydro station.

The issue with solar power is that its all single households, uncontrolled, that blast all their shit into the grid and they want money for doing so.
If you pump electricity into an overloaded grid, you should have to PAY for it, you shouldn't be the one to receive money, you should be the one paying money, because you expect someone else to store that energy.

that ammount wont even satisfy 1h of your daily consumption. You don't realize how much power is needed to keep things going. The US has a daily avarage of around 600-620 GWh of electrical power need, with peaks beyoned 750GWh.

Currently you have installed 36GW of battery capacity in the totaly of US, with that capacity you can keep the lights on for roughly 3 minutes in a peak power scenarion.

Having a battery on the grid level is retarded and ineffective.
Because they need inverters.
Do you know what also needs inverters? The solar panels themselves.
So wouldn't it make sense to have the batteries where the solar panels already are? So you only need one inverter?

Solar makes sense. It allows households to go off-grid.
But the idiotic retardation of having private people pump electricity into the grid on their own will, uncontrolled, and paying them for it... that is what kills you.

I got solar power here, i can show you exactly how everything works. I got a battery unit. I got a heating unit that uses up excess power if the battery is already full. I can go fully off-grid. And the grid gets NOTHING from me. Every singly kWh the panels produce is used by me.

>bro, even the united states is installing huge amounts of modern batteries that can take that daytime solar power and store it to be used at night
At that scale it works, but most solar producers don't because of the costs.
So in Europe (and probably muttmerica too) there are grid fees that fluctuate with usage, taxes etc.
In the US the average consumer KWh cost is 17.4 cents.

If you make your own solar, but can remove VAT, grid fees etc and sell your excess back then it's one equation.
But if you try to make profit within the 41% of the total cost you can't if you add storage (similar numbers in Europe, but more taxes etc).

The result is that all large producers just dump the energy on the grid as it is produced.
This causes extreme strain on the energy grid.

The problem here is that if they add storage, they are not even close to profitable (as they barely are now with subsidies).

So your solar home solution only has to beat 17 cent per KWh, the solar farms (and wind turbines) have to beat 7 (in practice less since energy prices at their peak production are very low as well due to the over supply).
The European energy grids simply can't cope with this if there is any unpredictability, like a surprisingly volatile cloud forming event making the supply work like a yoyo.

And that's what happened during the massive blackout.
Clouds came and went surprisingly fast and winds were very unpredictable meaning that they never had a chance to balance the green energy supply yoyo on the grid.

A square meter solar panel is cheaper than a square meter asphalt.
Thanks to China, they really made this cheap.

You just have to be responsible with it. Which we aren't.
Panels pumping electricity uncontrolled into the grid is a lunacy.
It is so crazy that the electricity companies are begging our governments to please mandate a remote control ability for them, so that they can shut them down when the grid gets unstable.

the only scenario where PV is a go, to be self sufficent. You wont actually save much, if anything. For the invemtemnt costs you can get decades off electricity/heat.
Before the whole insanity of the green deal started PV had an ROI off 50 years+ basically you would have already fucked over your inverter life time twice by the time you broke even.

>Then did I misunderstand Filatyev's writing? The nurse/dcotors with officer ranks that he was complaining about were career military, but got their rank from civilian courses and thus they were bitches because they knew they got no real respect from "real" NCOs/COs?

Veterans love to be annoyed by something, I don't know maybe he's met an especially beautiful, but bitchy nurse, who's told him to fuck off. Who knows, maybe they lost some of his papers, as usually, whatever.

>Strange. Maybe the same rules in USA for military academy (again, I'm just a civilian) but anyone can get multiple BA degrees if they have the money/time

Nothing strange here, first BA->MA->PHD if done in one chain is free in Russia, so once you've started a civilian chain of education you are not allowed to get a free military degree, and since there is no such thing as paid military education in Russia, the only option for you are the courses, which are an equivalent of full military BA on paper, but in fact nobody cares.

Didn't read desu and answer only using my past service experience.
For me there is so much SMO all around that to read the whole book about it is too much.

>Also, how about that German group with glowies that you mentioned earlier?
I mentioned this group because, in my opinion, it is representative of an intense psychological operation that has been underway since the mid-2010s targeting all European nationalist radical movements, even and ESPECIALLY those whose doctrine includes the rejection of capitalism and ZOG. The original doctrine of this group, which is one of the largest in Germany, was, as its name suggests, “the third way.” Neither capitalism nor socialism. Neither ZOG nor Eurasia. And what do we see? That they have embraced NAFO-style ukrainianism financed by jewish billionaires. In my opinion, this is a sign of terminal nihilism, fed by propaganda promoting “white Ukrainian princesses alone in wheat fields waiting for their saviors,” Germanic sun wheels, Scandinavian runes, etc. It's all surface, aesthetics, no substance, all theoretical content thrown in the trash. I mention this because the intensity of the brainwashing deployed to take over groups like this is far greater than that used to convince 20-year-old altright goblins raised on social media with no activist experience or political culture.

I have also observed this in France, in person. The only groups that are openly resisting this are those that have remained on a revolutionary nationalist line, namely economically socialist and geopolitically for a “Paris-Moscow-Beijing” axis.

son... please look into how much energy you need to produce a solar panel, just because you "get it cheap from china" doesn't mean it costs nothing, in fact europe has subsidiesed chink solar indsutry for decades. Bascially you and I have payed billion of our tax money to chink so we can get "cheap solar panels" while they killed all the other global players.

They now basically have a nearly global monopoly on photovoltaics. If the decide the raise the prices, there is nowhere you can go.

Trump did that on American panels, because he cut subsidies so his oil friends can rack up the cash by ramping up electricity costs and funding the AI slop bubble.

although still the private market will install an absurd amount of solar panels wherever it can because it saves money
>>
>>520289601
>You wont actually save much
I save nothing. There is no way that i ever make the costs back.
But i am self-sufficient with them. I don't have to pay for warm water heating, because the excess electricity goes there and it covers it, but it still won't strike a profit.

And that is how it should be.
It's those greedy faggots who install panels and only do the bare minimum (throw it into the grid uncontrolled) who cause problems.
They did a nice calculation where they would get the money back in 20 years or so (pro-tip: something will break during that time). But they don't consider how much damage they do.

You get money for the electricity during peak times because of politics. Not because it is economical. The electricity companies wouldn't give you anything, if they wouldn't have to do it. For them, you are a leech.

The other players died because they were living on government subsidies.
All the German solar companies went into bankruptcy because they were producing inferior products - as they thought that they don't need to compete, because the government pays for them anyway.

Currently, right now, you don't get any subsidies for solar panels.
They run out.
Yet, they are much cheaper than during peak governemnt-gibs times, because the Chinese simply progressed them so hard.

some rare realworld atittude.

The funny thing all this constructs were made for "big investors", windparks used the have a ROI of sub 5 years with all the subsidies they have been shoveling into them, right behind PV. But that gold digger time is now over, thats why you also see more and more big windfarm projects that get canceld, there is no "Money to be made" anymore in them. And all the corpos don't do this to save the planet but to rake in the cash.

The whole "green deal" is a gigantic wealth transfere scheme from the people to a few selected corporations and individuals.

>also, there's a cost to fossil fuel infrastructure as well, that infrastructure didn't grow on trees
Solar costs about 1 million per MW capacity, with a 9-10% output relative to installed capacity.
So building a 650MW solar powerplant will require the installation of 6840MW capacity (plus batteries and storage, but let's assume it is free) giving us a total of about $7 billion.

A standard coal plant costs <3200 per MW (stable output) for a total of 2.1 million.
LNG burning plants cost about the same.

Yeah, that infrastructure aint free, but when you compare it to renewables it sort of is.

Let's say you can use it 20 years, this gives a capital cost (without interest, land and other stuff) of 5.23 cents per KWh.
Competitive in October.
If we assume it is financed at 4% interest, we suddenly go to 7.6 cents per KWh, not even competitive in October without gibs.
Now assume you need to replace 10% of the panels during the 20 years, cost is now over 8.3 cents per KWh.

On top of this we should add operating costs and energy storage.

Sure, we might eventually get to a point where it is profitable.
But we are not there and it's still far to go.

You are right that fossil fuel costs shouldn't be ignored.
But for the moment, and quite a bit into the future, it's cheaper to match the green capacity with LNG plants to have as grid balancing than investing in batteries.

IMO the best solution is kinetic storage in artificial dams but that's a different topic and not suitable everywhere.

>there is so much SMO all around
Ah, you are still in the forces. I understand.
Even I have cut back drastically on my consumption of SMO content because it's overwhelming and also very sad. /chug/ never talks about it because of shills, but Russians are also dying in this war (even if it's 100 ukrops to 1) and that makes me sad even though the SMO is fought for good, logical reasons and I firmly believe Kremlin would stop the war the moment US/NATO by some magic agreed to Moscow's simple demands.

>resonating within their hearts
I draw a distinction between "Putin=bad" and should be replaced with a more pro-West president (which is what I was pointing to) and "Putin=bad" because he WAS too trusting of the west and too soft (the dreaded "cuckening"). IMO Putin's greatest failure will be if he fails to ensure a smooth transition of power to a pro-Russian president when Putin eventually has to retire. I don't want Russia to end up in a "Peter the Great" or "Stalin" situation where succession is muddy/broken.

But I don't vote in Russian elections (passport expired) so no one cares about my opinion and I am OK with that :-)

But we don't so fuck trannies and fuck wind farms. Solar is OK for personal use, but not as replacement for conventional grid power generation.

Stupidity regarding the youngest, defeatism regarding the oldest. Pro-Russian groups remain powerful in France, and there is considerable conflict with those who fantasize about Ukraine as a White Paradise. This may sound crazy to you, but some French intelligence agents have admitted that the only way the Macron administration could have an unofficial dialogue with Russia was through these types of revolutionary nationalist groups. One might think that these are just small groups with no impact, but the fact is that some of their leaders or former leaders have maintained significant activities in Russia because they have remained faithful to their commitment.
