Stanford is not technically an Ivy League, but it's a great school. You can go to their bookstore and buy their course books (downstairs) as a non-student. If you're dead broke, you can even technically take one upstairs and read it in the coffee shop for free, and work the problems out in a notebook and no one cares. If you do this though, go for the used ones instead of being a dick and scuffing up the new texts. Go after 4pm so you aren't charged for visitor parking. Basically you can get a Stanford-level education without enrolling. I went there yesterday and spent a pretty penny on books, because I have the money and I like to take them home. Also like to support the bookstore for letting plebs like me study there for free. If you want the knowledge, all you really need to pay for is the gas to get there, and study with the rest of the students. Thank them and their parents for bankrolling your education as you read the same book they are reading. Sometimes there are even online streams of classes. One of the books I got yesterday was on Convex Optimization, and I found a YouTube series that explained it well enough with visualizations that it got me started on the book just fine.

Tesla and Edison used different techniques with this, but it works. If you get it down correctly, you can acquire almost Rainman levels of long-term memory acquisition.Do a lot of cardio alone without focusing on anything at all, maybe with listening to music at most. You need the space for your mind to wander enough to be creative. Creativity in math is extremely important no matter what people say. Last but not least, make space in your life for it even if you have to lose some people in your life. The important ones will support you on your journey to become a better person.
