The process of getting the European-descended peoples in the colonies to identify as monolithically "white" was very difficult and is in many ways still incomplete; to extrapolate from that that you can just cajole them into doing the same thing with blacks, Latinos, pajeets, etc. is wishful thinking, if not outright intellectually dishonest. Latin America has been racemixing for half a millennium and the result has not been some kumbaya ethnogenesis of new peoples, it's been the emergence of informal racial caste systems and the structural disunity attendant to that
