Fell asleep and saw the thread had a few replies with questions. I'll answer them. It's fucked, but you guys are pretty much the only people on the internet who remember him, so you're pretty much the closest he has to mourners, outside his family.
>>
What happened to him?

I remember he was huge in 2016ish but then everyone dropped him for some reason. I didn't care because I thought it was just Catholic infighting
>>
who?
>>
are there reuploads of his videos? did you get a T-Shirt? I did

Why do you say he's dead? It's not out of character for him to step away from the internet and stop making videos or using twitter. We went years without hearing anything from him before he came back.

CF lived with his parents and I don't think they did much to stop him stealing his dad's liquor, given how scary unstable he was. He also traded crypto, so he had some money on him. Not enough to live off of, but not enough for alcohol.

Enough for alcohol, I mean.

Yeah, he pretty much alienated everyone around him and then got shut down on a bunch of different platforms. Refused to get a real job, learn any trade skills, or get certified for anything. Died in October for drinking too much.

He couldn't seem to grasp the cognitive dissonance of constantly screeching that that all these platforms are pushing a pro-gay agenda, while expecting to make a living posting anti-gay content on these same platforms. He wanted to be the next Joe Rogan or Alex Jones, while constantly schizo-posting and hating everyone around him.

Took his frustrations with life out on Catholics, cause who fucking knows.
>>
Maybe he just went beyond the ice wall?

I don't buy it. CF never struck me as someone who would threaten to bash someone's head in or stab someone. He's talked about working and bad experiences he's had at airports on a few occasions. I always assumed he had a job that required travel. He's also taken a years long break from making videos and posting under the Common Filth or Nostalgia Wounds names, so it's hard to view him as an obsessive poster.

Can you really blame him for being driven mad by an insane world?

Me neither. This board talks lots of shit. People used to insist that Patrick Little married Emily Youcis years ago.

What was his name/state so we can prove this on state death records?

How long had he been abusing alcohol –I heard him quote drunkards won't inherit the kingdom of God verse

was he continually a NEET throughout his whole life or did he ever have random jobs here and there?

How old did he make it to?
>>
>>520541861
he deleted his channel and started a retro gaming channel because the content was making him too depressed IIRC

The anger, violence, and shut-in behavior didn't happen all at once. It was a slow degradation that occurred over the course of over a decade. I wouldn't have become friends with him if he had started off that way.

He trained with Union Pacific for 14-weeks, but they never contacted him with a permanent job offer. He couldn't fit in with the blue-collar culture, unsurprisingly. After that, the only work he did was canvassing. It was seasonal work where he'd work for a company that would contract itself out to different political candidates. He canvassed for Donald Trump for 3 months in 2024. He deluded himself a little during that stint, since he genuinely thought his job prospects would pick up in 2025.

I feel sad for his death, but also anger. There were so many points in his life where he could have tried to make positive changes in his life, but he didn't. It's much easier to wallow in hopelessness, while feeling superior to whatever niche subculture he was raging about that week.

What's your proof though? Is there some obituary you could provide? A name or city perhaps

Alexander Showers. Died in Tennessee at age 36. Born in 1989. Please don't harass his family.

Not sure how long he was abusing alcohol for, but the last time we hung out was last year and he had a bottle of "orange juice" on him that was clearly spiked with alcohol. He smelled of it. I just know that I got a text from his sister last week, telling me that he passed away from untreated liver and kidney issues. So all clues point to alcohol abuse.

CF could oftentimes be very hypocritical. He had high standards for the world, but often couldn't meet those standards himself.

I used to listen to him back in the day, it made me reconsider acting on my sexuality. I still struggle but it has helped me MASSIVELY! He drilled into my skull just how bad that shit is. I thank him deeply, from the bottom of my heart. If this is true, may he rest in piece. Could you pass on a message and say that he helped me? Thank you.

Fell into the white women fuck dogs spiral. His early content had some good points but then he overdosed on black pills.

I'm glad that he had a positive effect on you. I recently re-listened to episode 2 of Common Filth Radio. I was shocked by how level-headed and cogent he sounded compared to his later episodes. No crazy conspiracy, just a sound argument for why the gay lifestyle isn't a good thing, by using actual stats and referencing real writings and events from "LGBT history".
>>
>>520546887

He spent most of his life in Northern/Central California. His family moved to TN in 2020, because cost of living was cheaper.

Ive been following his stuff since he started. I always loved listening to his stuff even during his post covid schizo phase. He always had refreshing and differnet outlooks compared to the other internet bozo commentators kvetching about der mainstreeem meedeeeur. If this is real then its a massive bummer. RIP

I'll give you one funny anecdote and one bad anecdote.

When I was in my final year of college, CF dropped by campus, having dropped out almost 2 years prior. Guy slapped the White Girls Fuck Dogs stickers on a bunch of bulletin boards around the university during the evening as promotion for Common Filth Radio. They were removed after a day, but most people were just confused by the stickers.

In 2020, before his family left for Tennessee, I got a job as a correctional officer at the local prison because I was inbetween jobs. Rent in the Bay Area is insane, so I recommended CF get a job there so he could split the rent on an apartment with me.

As I was explaining the work to him, I mentioned that he should probably get the COVID shot, because he would be in close proximity to high concentrations of people. He asked me if I got the vaccine and I said yes. He punched me in the face, screamed that I was trying to indoctrinate him into a death cult. We got into a fist fight, and he ended up moving with his parents to Tennessee. That was the point where I realized just how unwell he was.

Ended up working at the prison for 4 years and then moved to the Midwest when I got a job in IT.

He had a good taste in music and media. Could you elaborate on some of his favourites (and yours too?)

Based OP
Hope it's not true but I sense you're not lying.

Sad shit
Found him utterly fascinating and he ran a good podcast

>>520548965
so you're a wagie and a jabbie and you've come here to posthumously slander /ourguy/ with absolutely nothing to back up your words. i won't have it. post proof or be pozzed for all eternity

>>520541704
He was thoroughly demoralised and as a result, maxchristfagged. No race left in him, in the Spenglerian sense.
In other words, listening to him was useless and counterproductive if you already know about society being degenerated (mainly by jews). If you hang around here, why even bother?
>>
>>520546507
Nigga should have Tudcamaxxed to protect his liver at least minimally. Streamers (narcicissts) and alcoholics aren't exactly high IQ though, so no wonder he didn't think of doing so lol

The last movie he mentioned watching to me was Godzilla Minus One. He liked it. He was fond of Homestar Runner. I notice that HR tends to be pretty popular with homeschoolers and people raised religious.

In terms of music, I know he liked Death Grips, GG Allen, and Cheap Trick. He liked finding obscure musicians on YouTube. I learned about this catchy song through him:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuuEQO4SBSc

His favorite comedians were Norm MacDonald and Mitch Hedburg. I know I've been talking a lot of trash about him in the thread, but he really was a cool person before his schizo brain completely took over.
