>>520982723I thought almost all of them were franchises tho. If you look closely on the doors then all say “Authorized franchise” or something like that. Big corporations like McDonalds, T-Mobile, AT&T etc all realized that having corporate owned stores are a liability in the era of social media. Because if an employee tells someone to Fuck Off, its seen as coming from the company itself. If it’s just a franchise, corporate can disavow that location and say it wasnt really us, it was XYZ LLC, and we revoked their franchise agreement.

Good, I live in a city with a population over 350k. Within a 10 minute drive I can't find a decent burger place that doesn't cost $20 per person. Now I make burgers at home, if I want to treat myself I have to go to the fucking beach to enjoy a reputable burger. All you see in America is wendys, burgerking, mcdonalds, and the occasional five guys/shakeshack/cookout.I am tired of fast food. The buildings are an eyesore, the food is ass, service is ass, now it's slow, and the prices are no longer cheap. 10 years ago I would scoff at those yuppie burger places that charge $15 for a burger just because it's on a brioche/pretzel bun but now compared to the alternative it doesn't look so bad.This is a national embarrassment, burgers are a national food. How can we let all these chains disgrace the pride of the nation? You see countries like Italy and Thailand show some self respect and set some standards for their national treasures.
