The loans need to be dischargable via bankruptcy. Overnight the whole college scam apparatus would evaporate, students and schools would need to demonstrate perceived value and the ability to feasible repay in the future. We need to find a balance between education access and universities becoming basically popular resorts for kids. Educating should be cheaper via technology, not this absurd per semester cost we have now.
