Communism doesn't exist anymore.
It's dead.
Thinking it has even a modicum of influence or power in the world is delusional. No there aren't subversive Marxists controlling everything behind the scenes, and China isn't on the verge of defeating capitalism.
All the "communist countries" have market economies now. Even North Korea isn't fully planned. China's just a market capitalist economy with a higher degree of government planning and state ownership than in the West, and they're competing with the United States for hegemony over the international market.
And most of the "communist parties" throughout the world are just reformists who are de-facto social democrats, and never do anything revolutionary or plan to do so.
Maybe some communist militants in the middle of nowhere in some third world countries like India and the Philippines are the only real communists left, but that's it and they're losing territory and incurring losses at an unsustainable rate so they have no future.
The entire left-right spectrum now is "capitalism with more gibs and regulations", and "capitalism with fewer gibs and regulations".
