Gnosticism is the most traditional and monarchical narrative ever told. It's not revolutionary, quite the opposite…The parable of the false monarch, who, by claiming to be what he is not, creates a chaotic kingdom. It's a challenge to hierarchies; a commoner can never be a monarch, there needs to be lineage, a race within a race. The demiurge in this context is a literal enlightened, republican, and revolutionary Freemason, a member of the aristocratic class who deposed (or convinced himself and his inferiors) the legitimate King.
