To reduce blue collar industrial work will take re-tooling the entire industry whichever it may be, millions upon millions of dollars not just in what you pay but the opportunity cost during downtime.When it comes to construction sites the problem is tenfold, due to specific hardships/conditions on each site that will be different every time and are addressed as they show up. AI will have a lot of difficulty accomplishing this, and the result if it fails will be a building that falls down and crushes hundreds of people to death, where doing a middle management fake office job it might send an email in error. The consequences literally will never be the same.
