AI isn't just coming for coders' jobs. If you can WFH, AI can probably do your job. And if it can't, it will be able to do your job by this time next year.

Blue-collar jobs are a year or two behind. But they'll be replaced by robots too.

You're a fucking idiot, robots aren't even close to replacing blue collar jobs.
>>
>>521019749
>aren't even close
That's what people were saying about white-collar jobs 2 years ago.

i fucking hated talking to some jeet on the other end of the phone. fuck them.

We need cheap AI drones to sell, transport and distribute illegal drugs.

The drones need to be connected to an online system where you can purchase drugs with a credit card anywhere, anytime.

It's more that a lot of production lines in factories aren't built around automation yet. They're running on machines designed decades ago that never factored for robot arms. To reduce blue collar industrial work will take re-tooling the entire industry whichever it may be, millions upon millions of dollars not just in what you pay but the opportunity cost during downtime.

When it comes to construction sites the problem is tenfold, due to specific hardships/conditions on each site that will be different every time and are addressed as they show up. AI will have a lot of difficulty accomplishing this, and the result if it fails will be a building that falls down and crushes hundreds of people to death, where doing a middle management fake office job it might send an email in error. The consequences literally will never be the same.

This thing can already be trained to do repetitive tasks. It's just a matter of collecting more data, toughening the hardware and working out the kinks.
>>
>>521021804
>construction sites
Dude, we won't need any more construction. AI does not need offices (doctors and dentists excepted). We'll have a ton of extra floor space that will be re-purposed as living quarters.

Both good points, I'm skeptical about the readiness of the fembot but you're right that it's a matter of time, and that construction isn't as necessary as it once was, especially if you can replace the world's labour pool with the aforementioned fembots. However, the construction industry is huge and rife with corruption so I don't think it's going anywhere soon.

IDK, Google and Microsoft stocks both 10x'ed in value since Indians became their CEOs. You are ignoring the fact that the West gets less than 1% of Indians -- the cream of the crop. Whose value did you 10x lately BTW?

consider the quality of google and microsoft's products over the past 10 years. nobody gives a shit about line go up.
>>
>>521024313
Cope. It's literally the CEOs' job to make that line go up. That's what they are hired for.

if the line goes up but the quality of products goes down, then should the line really have gone up?

In fact, doubling in 10 years is 7% per year which barely covers inflation. So fuck off pajeet go back to your poo sticking homeland

I can’t wait for AI hucksters to show up in my conscious-space while I’m being harvested in the pod. Imagine having to spend an eternity in conscious-space with these greasy merchant bots. That’s basically hell.

Idiot, we were talking about the US.

are you satisfied with current google and microsoft products?
>>
>>521029507
More or less. I don't use Windows or MS Office though.
>>
>>521031151
so, then no? if you don't use the products, then how can you be satisfied with them? did you ever use the products? if so, when and why did you stop using them?
>>
>>521019559
AI didn't replace coders, it's just a tool used by them. It's no different than photoshop for artists. It's a powerful tool that enhances productivity, but you still need to know how to use it.
>>
>>521031995
>so, then no?
I use them. Just not those.
>>
>>521031995
... You keep missing the obvious point that it's not the CEO's job to improve the products anyway. His job is to make the stockholders richer. If he can do it by making great products - great. If he can do it by making shitty products - also great.

But I use a ton of products by Google, and some MS products (actually, just one). They seem OK. But THIS IS BESIDES THE POINT.

If you don't like market economy, you are a commie. It is what it is.
