I want to officially declare "billionaires should not exist", or any variation of the sentiment as sub-midwit/lower-end midwit rhetoric. The mathematics don't work. If you dissolved the collective networth of every fucking billionaire on this planet, it's not going to put a dent in global inequality. In fact, it would make things worse. You would crash the companies that their artificial networths are invested in, causing mass layoffs, extreme market volatility and would destroy virtually everyone's 401k. How would the money even be distributed? Through fucking NGOs? Governments that have broken our social contracts and eroded our futures? This shit is only said by people who don't actually think.
Why even take such people seriously? It's obviously a cope. Just call them broke and move on because you know they're sensitive about money.
>>521033086it's gonna be much simpler. People will just hide money. I used to work in real estate and in order to lower suspicions the home owners would make their in-laws legal owners of their objects, so you get extended family own stuff but in reality it all belongs to one guy. This can be used with money as well. So if your net worth reaches a billion you just "strip" assets by making it look like another person owns it. This is even easier done with corporate entities. Idiots who talk about abolishing billionaires are all about appearances and vibes. Never about actually understanding why it won't work.
I don't care about 'global' inequality, kike
>>521033579>it is jewish to not hand your money over to one person until they have it all The unit is getting lazy
>>521033579Good, because the main corpus of my post was very US-centric.
In classical economic theory, the amount of money you earn is equal to the amount of value you produced.Like a Fortune 500 CEO earns on the order of $10 million/year, which means a top-end CEO is roughly 100x as productive as an educated professional. Those people must be insanely efficient with their time, have ever minute of their day mapped out, and be batting 9/10 or 10/10 on ever decision they make. These truly are the apex talent of our society. It's absolutely impossible to serve in such a highly demanding role for 50 years, maybe 5-10 years at most. But let's say you could. That would be $500 million in your bank account. Perhaps you could even reach $1 billion as a theoretical maximum. So given that, how do people exist with $10+ billion? How is it possible? Maybe they're such smart inventors? But the value of even the most expensive patents doesn't eclipse $100 million. This doesn't explain billionaire wealth. If you examine it more closely, every single billionaire is exploiting some type of "hack" in the economy. Not even 1 of them got that money through wealth-creation.-- Michael Bloomberg nvented the Bloomberg Terminal, which transmitted stock information microseconds faster than the competition, allowing traders to frontrun the market. If you didn't have a Bloomberg Terminal, your competitor would, and you would get destroyed.-- Walton Family Created a "vertical monopoly" where they control the entire supply chain from production to purchase. Small business don't have access to those overseas shipping routes.. They also have "local monopolies" in entire portions of the country. -- Jeff BezosA natural monopoly. Just as with a water pipe network, it would be inefficient to have a duplicate network of trucks, warehouses, and supply lines just to provide "competition". -- Mars familySelling addictive candy products. Their entire strategy revolved around monopolizing shelf space and gobbling up competitors like a Pacman game. ...etc
>>521034278Pic related, here is how Elon Musk is hacking the system, although he's not the only one doing this.Basically by being a wealthy insider, he gets privileged access to the ground floor of these companies.Might I also mention his companies heavily rely on government contracting.
>>521033086Even the founders of capitalism understood that periodic redistribution was necessary in order to avoid capitalism just reverting into monarchy.
