These are valid emotions that shouldn't be considered imoral to feel or express. Why does our society supress them so severely as to even make them illegal such as in the case of "hate speech"?

I'd say it's more to supress nationalistic movements in western countries though rather than any certain ethnicity. When I think about it other types of anger and unapologetic hatred is always allowed. You can easily find accurate results on the internet when searching about hating men or white people but not any other ethnicities or genders. Same applies to real life.I doubt it's a grand conspiracy though, probably a result of foreign powers conducting sabotage and more women being in power. They aren't exactly known for nurturing fair and democratic environments.
