>be burger, pay $1000/mo for health insurance “just incase”
>instead literally just eat healthy and workout and not need a doctor from ages 20-40 and put $1000/mo into the stock market
>$240,000 saved by age 40 multiplied by the S&P 500 being up 500% since 2005
>have $1.2 MILLION DOLLARS saved and just keeps increasing as you age that covers any medical expense you could ever have
Why can’t burgers into simple math?

Yeah but if you have ONE thing go wrong in those 20 years, you're bankrupt, they will take everything.

You could buy physical gold and hide it in your house, or crypto, or just cash, but anything in a bank account or brokerage account will be stolen by creditors via court order.

I have no health insurance and haven't been to a doctor in 14 years, but I'm also a NEET with nothing to take, and if they hit me with a $200,000 bill I'd just be like "lol".

In America you dont need health insurance you literally can walk into any hospital and they have to treat you and when you leave they just send you a bill you dont have to pay.

>creditors via court
Medical bills are not reported to credit any more so that doesnt matter any more

then stonks go down, you lose everything, get sick or injured and go into debt slavery. A tale as old as time.

Creditors are the people you owe the medical debt to.

Can't even get it right in the first sentence. Why don't you participate in your country's "healthcare" and sign up for MAID?

I'm sure if there were a better system we would have figured it out by now.

Can I have everyone's attention for a little bit? I just want to say that I would have sex with the girl in the OP if given the chance.

O'nigger "care" was and is a disaster and a grift for the sick care industry and insurance rats.
It all neds to be torn down and revamped from the ground up.

Reinstate the fats pay a lot more, as well as pre-existing conditions, and you have to work or actually afford it to get it(no more freebies to parasites) and a lot of problems go away

i'm not going to pretend like our health insurance system isn't royally fucked up, especially since my rates fucking went up again, but what you're talking about is more of a giant gamble than anything else. as has been said, if you have one serious medical issue in that time, especially early on, and it interferes with your ability to work and earn money then you are likely ruined.

this entire system is maintained by the desire to get as much money as you can from people who are not you. insurance companies try to bleed customers try. subscribers try to get everything they can from insurance. government tries to leech as much as it can from taxpayers, companies try to utilize tax funded infrastructure and avoid paying into it as much as possible while trying to get as many subsidies as they can, etc.

>$1000/mo
How much do you think insurance premiums are in this country, exactly? Most insured people get it through their employment and it's much, MUCH lower than that. $200-$400/month/person unless you're getting the ridiculous coverage that you're going to have to use 10x more to benefit from.
