>>521060926i'm not going to pretend like our health insurance system isn't royally fucked up, especially since my rates fucking went up again, but what you're talking about is more of a giant gamble than anything else. as has been said, if you have one serious medical issue in that time, especially early on, and it interferes with your ability to work and earn money then you are likely ruined. this entire system is maintained by the desire to get as much money as you can from people who are not you. insurance companies try to bleed customers try. subscribers try to get everything they can from insurance. government tries to leech as much as it can from taxpayers, companies try to utilize tax funded infrastructure and avoid paying into it as much as possible while trying to get as many subsidies as they can, etc.
