Now that population genetics has come so far we should normalize the size of taxa using FST. It would make sense to define four modern species within our genus. South Africans, Central Africans, West-East Africans (WAHG is a ghost lineage), and Eurasians. Then define subspecies as races. That way we can differentiate between racemixing and speciesmixing.
