4chan's layout.css for font, colors, layout, language, etc, is a "true gentleman"(TM) and it defaults the font layout, size, language, and much more, to your browser's default settings.

Did you change browsers, or update your browser or did it update out from underneath you without notifying you because you're windows, or did you mess with your browser's settings?

In this thread we're going to pretend we're taking a class in web development like it's the year 2002.
Today we're going to use the rest of the hour to talk about html language, css cascading between serverside and client side, the browsers and their trampling of these standards, then touch on javascript, hosts files, and downloading the suggested ide or the one of your choice.

Reading for this week is chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Quiz on wednsday and exam on friday.
