People generally refuse to consider bad faith arguments. Any argument that is fundamentally opposing in viewpoint, will be considered to be in bad faith.This relates to extremism, since a group that is more extremist will have more strong attachments to their viewpoints meaning more arguments will be considered to be in bad faith.In leadership, this means the group will be more authoritarian as it is less open to feedback from outsider their background.
