What are the political implication of anti-woke White men using Linux phones instead of woke american companies phones?
>>
>>521070475
We should normalize not having a cell phone by not having cell phones
>>
>>521070595
Your cell phone is spying on you and you're paying money to use it--it's a stupid thing to have.

What kind of phone is that? Looks like one of those mini PCs with a touchscreen.

How else can i red pill my FBI handlers?
>>
>>521070678
let me introduce you to my little buddy, mister Faraday Sack

there's also GrapheneOS, which actually completely disables the antenna when you turn network off
>>
>>521070475
Linux Mint on a phone? Want
>>
>>521070844
I got a pixel, should install graphene.
I use Arch by the way
>>
>>521070475
>american companies phones

what are those??
>>
>>521070844
ALL FOSS projects have vulnerabilities
The Linux kernel has binary blobs
Hardware backdoors are a thing
>>
>>521070475
Where can I buy one of those bricks?
>>
>>521070982
literally just go do it now

it is so ridiculously idiot proof, one button install. there's no unlock, sideload, ADB command etc like it used to be
>>
>>521071070
then put your 5g jimmyhat on, which will protect against the GRIDS of the matrix
>>
>>521071172
why not lineage? Been running it for 4 years on a 7 year old phone. Will buy new phone soon since this one is on his last legs, but I plan on installing Lineage again on whatever I get next
>>
Graphene user here. Couldn't help but notice the 6 points. Yes I know why but they are still there... just saying.

It doesn't have the same level of privacy at all.
>>521071172
Need to figure out a bit how to transfer digital ID, which we do need for many things. Afaik graphene has Google enabled workspaces I can use for that that are off when not in use.
>>
>>521070982
Yeah graphine is lit do it. Is easy.
>>
>>521070595
We should go back to dumb phones. Being able to call is good for emergencias or basic things like meeting up with someone.
>>
>>521071623
Yeah, true. But even dumb phones are tracked unfortunately. Makes people more social though
>>
>>521070475
>phone
>doesn't connect to any phone networks
>can't make phone calls
>needs wifi for on the go
>no speech to text, so touch screen keyboard only
>can't install phone "apps", which everybody needs to be able to do these days because "I don't have a smartphone" doesn't fly anymore and "I have a linux phone" will only open the door to so many more bullshit debates you won't win unless you truly love to argue with petty people
Just buy a Steam Deck and install nested desktop at that point
>>
>>521071431
i vaguely remember reading some fed shit about lineageOS back in the day. I ran it in 2014, back when custom roms would break a quarter of the features of your phone for no reason

>>521071508
i always thought it was a play on words

Graphene = Gräfin (german, Countess)
>>
>>521071623
Everything connected to a network can be, and most likely is, tracked.
>>
>>521070475
I just did a weekend trip to a village that had 0 cellular reception from any network. This was due to it being in a very deep valley surround by limestone based cliffs. They had land lines and fiber broadband. The entire vibe of the place was different from noone using cell phones. Made me want to go back to using my nokia.
>>
>>521071623
>emergencias
Sí, vale..

Good luck trying to make a WhatsApp account on this. Because you need a cell phone to create an account. And nobody uses Discord except people who already have a computer. So say goodbye to your dating life.

All network traffic is logged? Every bot pinging an ssh port? Every s3 bucket access? Every database query? Doubt
>>
>>521070475
I use arch mobile btw
>>
Instead of carrying a brick bigger than the Nokia phones from the early 00's like a retarded neckbeard you should just get a good normie phone compatible with LineageOS.

I'm still waiting for the glownigger subhumans to come tongue my anus through my fully rooted S20 FE with custom kernel.
