I just discovered today that my family is related to former iranian president Mohamed Khatami. (Basically, in Morocco, after independance they asked everyone to register a last name, because everyone was just know as "person son of person", so my grand father took the opportunity to change the name from Khatami to the current one we have, and after I found the document, I asked my dad who got me in touch with some family members back in Iran)

I knew my grandfather was iranian but i taught it was some Zoroastrian badass tribe. Adding to that, my mom is a Sephardic jew. Am I officially a Zutt-jew now ?
