A few days ago, Russian "Z-writer" and propagandist Zakhar Prilepin suggested that Russia bring 25 thousand Cubans to fight against Ukraine, as well as set up four military bases in Venezuela.

According to him, the situation in 2030 will look almost the same as it is now, and it's clear Moscow "cannot achieve military victory" over Ukraine "for a variety of reasons." He added that Russia needs to completely turn to the Global South and get the sense of "samurai-like cold-bloodedness."

"For two or three years now, we've been telling everyone, 'Let's do it this way, we will give you this back, we will not go there, we will not denazify, we will not remove Zelenskyy, we will not use very large bombs.' No one is meeting us halfway. Our goodwill proposals are hitting a brick wall," Prilepin said.

Menaker Law Office took on defense in a sabotage case on Nord Stream pipeline, defending Serhii K. within the framework of the investigative proceedings and filed a complaint with the Federal Court of Germany against the arrest warrant issued by the German authorities.

This case is considered one of the most complicated in Europe in the area of security and international law. It concerns the investigation of the explosion at the Nord Stream pipeline in the Baltic Sea in 2022 and touches upon issues of state responsibility, international jurisdiction and functional immunity.

The defense claims that a criminal prosecution on charges brought against Serhii K. is excluded according to the norms of international law since the actions should be regarded not as a private or an individual act but as part of conducting state, sovereign functions.

"Our task is to ensure respect for the boundaries of national jurisdiction and the preservation of the principles of the rule of law even in complex international affairs. This is not about a political discussion but a legal case, first of all from the point of view of current international law," - Ilona Menaker, founder of Menaker Law Office.

This case concerns several European law issues, issues of the international immunity and the military context of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Serhii K., who is now in Italy under arrest waiting for extradition, has sent the following message through his lawyers:

"I hope that the German courts will not be guided by political considerations but will make the decision based solely upon law and order."

Prison or death in the "special military operation": Russian propagandists suddenly revealed the real career prospects for Russians.

In Novosibirsk, eight repeat offenders received prison sentences of 5 to 10 years for the abduction of a participant in the "special military operation." In 2024, they took him to a forested area, demanding 1.5 million rubles (~$18,585) - the money he had earned in the war. However, they managed to extort only 95,000 rubles (~$1,178).

The next day, all of them were arrested. They spent a year and a half in pretrial detention, and the court recently handed down their sentences. However, the victim himself did not live to see it, as he was killed fighting in the war against Ukraine.

The EU is planning sanctions against Russian security officials, judges, and investigators responsible for the death of Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna.

According to information from the Radio Liberty and Current Time projects, the sanctions list is expected to include the leaders and staff of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) of Russia’s Rostov region, who were responsible for the torture and death of Viktoriia Roshchyna in Detention Center No. 2 in Taganrog, as well as judges and investigators involved in politically motivated persecution of journalists and activists.

Among them is Andrey Polyakov, head of the FSIN in Rostov region, under whose leadership Ukrainian prisoners were subjected to torture, beatings, and denial of medical care. According to the EU, Viktoriia Roshchyna died in September 2024 in FSIN Detention Center No. 2, under Polyakov’s supervision, following torture.

The sanctions are also expected to target Andrey Mikhaylichenko, deputy head of Detention Center No. 2 for security and operational work; Andrey Sapitsky, deputy director for personnel; and Alexander Shtoda, director of Detention Center No. 2. All of them, according to the EU, are responsible for torture, cruel treatment, and the deaths of at least 15 Ukrainian prisoners.

In addition, the Systema project has found that sanctions may also target representatives of the judiciary and investigative authorities involved in political repression.

The sanctions are expected to be formally approved by EU foreign ministers at a meeting in Luxembourg on November 20.

Andrii's parents had moved from their village to Kyiv less than a week ago to spend the winter here. His father had cancer, and Andrii had been taking care of him. Both parents were killed instantly.

"It’s impossible to even enter the apartment. The debris is up to your waist. The wall to the neighbors is destroyed. The upper slab collapsed onto the bed. My mother died on the spot, and my father was under the slab and most likely died on the spot as well," Andrii shared.

Russia “lures” South Africans and sends them to the front - Ukrainian ambassador to South Africa Oleksandr Shcherba @olex_scherba.

At least 17 South Africans aged 20 to 39 have reached out to their government for help after finding themselves trapped on the eastern front.

Ukraine’s ambassador to South Africa has warned South Africans not to let themselves be drawn into Russia’s war.

On November 13, 2025, Ambassador Oleksandr Shcherba told AFP that he is aware of 17 men who were “deceived” into going to a war “that Africa has nothing to do with.”

He noted that it is a colonial war, and the fact that Africans are fighting in a colonial war against a free country is simply madness.

Shcherba made this comment in response to reports from the South African government about “SOS signals” from its citizens who found themselves literally trapped in Donbas.

According to reports, men aged 20 to 39 were “lured” with lucrative work contracts and then sent to the front.

The South African news agency News24 reported on November 11, 2025, that it has evidence showing that they were sent to Russia by the uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK) party “supposedly for training as security guards.”

MK party founder Jacob Zuma had close ties with Russia during his presidency of South Africa from 2009 to 2018. Current President Cyril Ramaphosa has ordered an investigation.

>Ukraine’s ambassador to South Africa has warned South Africans not to let themselves be drawn into Russia’s war.

“Since this news came out, I have received emails from relatives of these young people who were lured to the frontline. They were in despair. Don’t do this to your mothers, fathers, and sisters,” Shcherba urged South Africans. “We hope that the situation regarding Russia’s violation of South African law and the recruitment or luring of these people into this war… will open the eyes of South African society.”

South African citizens are prohibited from joining foreign armies without direct permission from their government.

This scandal follows reports about young men from Kenya, India, and other countries being deceived or forced into Russia’s war against Ukraine.

They don’t need recharging - the humanoids are capable of changing their own batteries, making their presence in production almost independent of humans.

This is the world’s first mass deployment of such machines - hundreds of humanoid robots have been sent to major car factories, including BYD, Geely, FAW-Volkswagen, Dongfeng, and Foxconn, where they will take on car assembly tasks.

Civilians have been injured and killed - including children.

The UK continues to support, both on air defence and with £13m this week for energy repairs.

[Q]: Russia-Ukraine [war] remains intractable and irritating for you. What might be the key leverage left with Putin?

President Trump: I settled eight wars, and I have one to go. I thought I have a very good relationship with president Putin. I thought that was going to be an easier one.

I hope it's going to happen soon. We're putting a lot of pressure on them [Russia] with India and the oil. India is now pulling out and others are pulling out because as Russia sells oil, they have money to do things. But I think we're going to get it done.

Overdue accounts receivables. Russia likely has a sophisticated factoring system of payments which is pretty normal for a raw commodity oriented economy like Russia.

But what happens to this chain of payments when money doesn't arrive and you have tight liquidity and very expensive loans as well?

At night, drones attacked the Russian Ryazan, with local residents reporting a strike on an oil refinery.

The falling debris from the shot-down drone "caused a fire on the territory of one enterprise," regional governor Pavel Malkov said, without providing further details.

The Ryazan oil refinery is one of the five largest oil refineries in Russia in terms of processing volume. Its annual capacity exceeds 17 million tons of crude.

Several Russian Telegram channels are reporting a fire in Voronezh, Russia, near the Chemical Automatics Design Bureau, where engines for the Iskander missile and Soyuz, Proton, and Angara rockets are produced.

Meanwhile, the city's channels are mentioning nothing about the fire; one reports only about a "glow in the sky" near Shilovo work settlement (a suburb of Voronezh).

There is no official information about what is happening in Voronezh.

Overdue mortgages rising despite rate cuts. I'll leave at this for now cos I'm off out.

Remember to look at what they do rather than what they say. They cut the bank rate by 4.5% but the following article suggests that loans will actually become even more restricted because so many Russians (>24% now probably according to >>521447387) are delinquent uncreditworthy louts. And that's according to their own numbers which are probably massaged even after debt restructuring.

https://x.com/chefjoseandres/status/1989187809920614596?s=20

Three years ago today, WCK’s #ChefsForUkraine teams arrived in Kherson just after the city was liberated from eight months of Russian occupation. Families were facing a severe humanitarian crisis—cut off from food and basic necessities. Within a week, our teams were serving hot meals at eight distribution points across the city.

Our support in Kherson has never stopped. Over the past three years, WCK has provided more than 13 million meals through hot food and food kits. As residents keep rebuilding, we remain by their side—bringing nourishment, hope, and strength one meal at a time.

So I've been going through tg a lot recently and it looks like more and more ukis are getting small unit drones to clear out buildings at a company level?(still not squad level from what I can tell). This means they effectively clear buildings without putting themselves in danger trying to clear every corner. Kinda interesting to see how it's evolving, since clearing out buildings is probably the second most dangerous thing you can do, only topped by clearing out trenches.

What is Russia seeking to gain from indiscriminate terror attacks on residential buildings? I mean what is their goal here?
Do they expect Ukraine to just go "well guess I can’t take it anymore and surrender", and NOT create intergenerational TZD mindset?
In contrast Ukraine mostly attack strategic infrastructure that will negatively impact the Russian economy with great effect. Russia has attacked so much of Ukraine’s infrastructure but with very limited effect because they simply just don’t want to be under Russian influence again and can put up with it. Can Russia say the same about the now prevalent side-effects of war which the biggest damage that can happen to them if they give up is hurting their collective ego?

TBQH, I doubt Russia is actually targeting civilian housing. It just seems way more likely that this is a result of munitions getting shot down by ad / getting jammed by EW. When hundreds of drones are launched, and the majority intercepted, one can expect hundreds of munitions falling more or less randomly. And tens of hits on civilian housing is expected. The same goes for all "strikes on civilians" that have happened in Russia.

That being said, it is *possible* that it's happening to some extent. Since the primary tactic is simple saturation, it's not completely inconceivable that some of them are just set to hit "where ever". I don't think it is likely though.

"Logical" goal would be civilian unrest and overthrowing the goverment so russia can capitalize on it allowing them to roll over unopposed. Which has not worked ever in history, but russians do not know history.

Or more likely it is just that they randomly aim in the general direction and then claim that the playground was being used to train ukrainian spec ops.

In the context of airstrikes, civilians are undeniably getting hit. But it's pretty hard to prove them being targeted. And it just doesn't make sense to assume that imo.

russian long-range munitions have a huge CEP. they aren't precision the way western ones are. they can hit a neighborhood of a city but not like a specific building or anything. you ever notice how they rarely reveal their bomb damage assessments of the targets they hit? yeah, it's because they don't really hit anything of strategic value. it's all just, more-or-less, a bunch of random shit in a city. not whatever they were supposedly aiming at.
their whole campaign is essentially just a terror campaign. throw so much shit at ukraine that some of it it hits ~something~ and the people get demoralized and give up.
meanwhile, we have pretty much nightly videos of ukraine hitting russian strategic targets with their drones and whatnot.

Almost year four. I still don't know what NAFO even is and why it makes the proRussian enthusiasts so mad. I still don't know why they try to convince me that marrying a woman in a church (they consider it a synagogue) and having a white kid with blue eyes is somehow tranny or homosexual. They still consider burning through 1 mil people a success.

Guys I don't know how much longer I can take this insanity. Though I know it is precisely why they do it.

>1.7 mil dead
Going by public obituaries, Russia had more dead.
Going by probate registry cases, Russia has more dead.
Going my footage from the front-line, counting casualties from every single video, Russia has more dead.
Going by leaked, and published, western intelligence estimate, Russia has more dead.
Going by simple logic (majority of deaths are from small drones, soldiers are most exposed when attacking, Russia is attacking more) Russia has more dead.
Going by footage of lost vehicles, assuming a similar proportionality, Russia had more dead.

What made you so certain that it's the other way around?

The answer is quite simple. There are two opponents on the battlefield. One has long-range capabilities, Geran drones up to 500 per one salvo, hypersonic missiles, tactical missiles, and dozens to hundreds gliding bombs per day raining down on their enemy.

While other side drafts 30k men per month yet constantly keep losing territories and withdrawing, while also parading huge K/D stats. If this side sustained less losses, then their army would have overgrown the agressor army quite heavily by sheer size. Yet it keeps losing villages/cities one by one.

If you add these two factors together, you'll see a picture.

they were throwing old S-300 interceptors at Odessa in ground attack mode (really inaccurate) waaaaay back in 2022 to try to overwhelm the Ukr AD network as part of a larger saturation attack with more sophisticated missiles. this was back when most of the AD network was old soviet gear and there were real questions about their ability to deal with such things.
but sometime between now and then the rusnigs decided throwing loads of cheap shitty low-accuracy drones at population centers would be the bulk of the bombing campaign. it doesn't matter if it hits anything strategic. just as long as it hits something. a straight-up terror bombing campaign.

The warfare has changed, and it is really close to WW1 now. Even a single tank or APC can be a target of multiple drones hunting them. Anything like a group of tanks/APCs can draw fire of longer range weapon systems. To make things worse, the entire frontline is getting monitored, so it's close to impossible to do some sneaky maneuveurs.

So, there's a choice: do cuicidal attacks and trade men for fast territory gains, or move slow and utilize fire power advantage. Which one would you prefer your army to choose if you were drafted to the war, anon?

Imagine being this braindead and believe that outdated and poorly maintained 30-year old missiles of Ukranny's AD were not malfunctioning, but rather Russian forces were using S-300 to target ground instead.

The funniest part is the less S-300 remained functional in Ukranny, the less S-300 "bombings" were tracked. That is quite a conundrum!

All of these weapons combined inflict a small proportion of Ukrainians casualties. This is not even a "pro Ukrainian" claim, all Russian mil-bloggers say the same: Small drones inflict the bulk of casualties, on both sides. So while Russia is ahead in these capabilities, and it does help their K/D somewhat, it's insignificant compared to the advantage Ukraine has in the use of small drones.

>While other side drafts 30k men per month [...] If this side sustained less losses, then their army would have overgrown the aggressor army quite heavily by sheer size. Yet it keeps losing villages/cities one by one.
This argument doesn't really make any sense, because Russia is recruiting at a much higher rate, about 60k. So the premise "then their army would have overgrown" is flat out wrong.

On the contrary, this exact line of reasoning can be used to argue that Ukraine has a better K/D. The Russian pace of advance has been constant for two years, and Russia has recruited twice as much in the same time. Ergo, they must suffer way more casualties, otherwise their army would have "overgrown and overwhelm the defenders" long ago.

Your second point stands valid, though - I've not been aware of the actual numbers and assumed that bussification in Ukraine dwarfed the numbers of Russian voluntary recruitment.

There are no exact numbers regarding casualties. So there is not a neat breakdown of percentages from weapon types. But fact that small drones make up the bulk is pretty well documented, you will find this echoed on both sides. According to interviews with Ukrainian medics, 60-70% of Ukrainian killed are from drones. You will find similar numbers on the Russian side.

This one is pretty easy to explain. The side advancing along the front will be the one picking up dead bodies. Think about the unlikely scenario where Ukrainian forces will pick up Russian corpses. It's incredible that it even happens ~30 times a month.

Another perspective: You probably agree that 20k UA deaths since that start of the war is a small fraction of the actual number. And the 1k RU corpses is an even smaller fraction (>150k RU obituaries have been collected, that's a hard minimum). And UA is probably not suffering >100 times the casualties last year compared to the first two years of war. So these numbers can hardly be used to esimate losses.

We have better methods of estimating losses from public data, see >>521449812

Just a bit earlier I've been told that Russia is barely advancing, close to 40 km per 13-14 months.

Does it mean that Russia is advancing fast enough that Ukranny can not even collect their own dead bodies? That's quite a bad situation.

Additionally, I do not see points on the graph that are remotely close to the ratio we are seeing lately, even though there were moments of Russian retreat, and Kursk operation by AFU.

>So these numbers can hardly be used to esimate losses.

Not arguing that, it's quite obvious. However, it can definitely show tendencies on the battlefield.

yeah i figured that when he didn't seem to know that S-300 was a whole family of systems and not a single specific type and that interceptors from certain variants can be traced back to certain countries because other countries don't use them.
>>521451756
it's not about legacy systems. it is about role. there are different layers of the air-defense onion. the S-400 handles the farthest out one. it'd be like using a shotgun to swat flies. it isn't what they were built for. taking out those types of targets is the responsibility of other systems in the network.
btw, properly integrating their AD network is something the russians have always sucked at.

>Just a bit earlier I've been told that Russia is barely advancing, close to 40 km per 13-14 months.
I didn't say that. Last two years Russia has advanced more than 7000 km^2. Not enough to "win" in any sense, but enough to pick up 20k corpses.
>it can definitely show tendencies on the battlefield.
Yes, that Russia is the one advancing, and that Ukraine has suffered at least 20k KIA over the last two years. Both of which are obvious. But nothing more than that.
>Does it also mean that all Russian sources are also checked, and casualties are properly compared?
Yes. I'm not the one doing the analysis, so I can't guarantee you he is doing it properly. The guy is named Andrew Perpetua, and he has a pro UA bias. He seems to be collecting from essentially all channels, you are welcome to correct him if you known any he doesn't (doubtful). I think his casualty counting work is open source, but I'm not sure. You can ask him.
>Same intelligence that estimated Russia to cave during the counter-offensive, and put Russian missile stockpiles at a 2-week point? You can not even be serious at this point.
Not infallible, but not worthless either. I haven't seen western intelligence estimate that the counte offensive would be offensive, I don't think such a prediciton was made. And the 2 week number was probably reasonably correct. The intensity of strikes did go down, before going back up when production was ramped up as well.

It was obviously russia that launched this war. It launched it due to extremely retarded reasons. One of them being the fact that Ukraine getting better without russia would be a threat to kremlin regime security.
One does wonder how much of the shit these kremlin-cheerleader subhumans blabber they truly believe.
Are they stupid?
Are the isolated and divorced themselves from reality by consuming grifter altmedia for hours on end while living a double life with the rest of actual society?
Are the just developmentally impaired?
Is it merely to piss people off and they are sociopathically afflicted or psychopathic?
Does the FSB have access to evidence of them being child rapists?
(Like it seems to be the case with trump judging by the email releases and relational diagrams stretching decades?)
Perhaps all these are true for various cases in various constellations and combinations.
But in the end of they day they cannot make a single cogent case for why the world is better for the russian invasion of Ukraine or that it is rightful.
It's just deflections, lies, gloating and retardation. They truly are beneath human.

The only issue is that happened multiple times, and every time it was a massive miss of what is going to happen. Starting with the "Russian economy collapse", "Russian rouble is traded 200:1 to USD", and "Russian economy is torn to pieces" dated back to 2022/2023ish times. Same applies to the weapon production estimates.

No they do not bring them. As I said, Russia doesn't want them. Why would Russia want their dead? They don't care. They mobilize 30 000 every month for the last two years and for some reason only 130 000 Russian soldiers have returned from the front so far. Their numbers are basically made up anyways.

Those *are* completely worthless. I don't think I have to explain how 1.7 million deaths is completely insane. Earlier leaks of western intelligence were confirmed genuine, there is absolutely nothing to give credence to this "leak".
It's a fact that Russia ran low on precision munitions before ramping up production. I'm not going to argue the details, or the validity of "two weeks", since it impossible to verify with open data. (not to mention an arbitrary measure)

This is so fucking dumb and tired holy shit. Listen nigger it's not that hard.
Russia is advancing right now. So it means the battles (IE the place where the body are) happen systematically to be in an area controlled by Russia at the time of the exchange.
That's not hard to understand. They don't get their bodies back because they already have them.
