>The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation found itself in a trap: either show a budget deficit of 8 trillion rubles at the end of 2025, or sharply reduce spending in November-December, inflicting such a blow on the economy, which is supported by the budget, that it will provoke a drop in GDP by another 2-3% at the beginning of 2026.

>What is 8 trillion rubles? This is 100 billion dollars, or approximately half of the amount of gold that the state has left in its gold and foreign currency reserves (besides it there is almost nothing there). If you don't change government policy, then another year of war will lead Russia to bankruptcy. Putin will have to end the war - there are no other options.

>Over 10 months, revenues amounted to 29.9 trillion rubles. To “fit” into the planned deficit (almost 6 trillion), the Ministry of Finance needs to collect 7.1 trillion rubles in 2 months. BUT: in October they collected only 2.99 trillion rubles. income. And this is before the introduction of Trump’s sanctions against the Russian oil industry, which will collapse revenues in November-December even more. Thus, income will amount to 5-5.5 trillion rubles. over the past 2 months. Total - 34.9-35.4 trillion rubles. income at the end of the year. And expenses were approved at the level of 42.8 trillion rubles. If you don’t cut expenses, the deficit will be 7.4-7.9 trillion rubles.

>However, the most interesting thing is the costs! In order to “fit in” even with this terrible scenario for the Kremlin, expenses must be kept at the level of 8.7 trillion rubles for November-December (because 34.1 trillion rubles have already been spent in 10 months). What is 8.7 trillion rubles? This is 15.5% less than in the same November-December last year. That is, in order not to exceed the “terrible” level of the budget deficit, they need to sharply reduce spending at the end of the year - by about 1.6 trillion rubles compared to the end of last year.

NWF is only 50B USD equivalent.
>As of November 1, 2025, the volume of liquid assets of the Fund (funds in bank accounts in the Bank of Russia) amounted to the equivalent of 4 157 548.0 million rubles or 51 644.2 million dollars.
https://minfin.gov.ru/ru/press-center/?id_4=40036-informatsionnoe_soobshchenie_o_rezultatakh_razmeshcheniya_sredstv_fonda_natsionalnogo_blagosostoyaniya

It can't be referring to the NWF either as it's too small. But it would make sense to refer to the NWF rather than the central bank because the treasury has liberty to spend this freely unlike central bank reserves.

It is all just mind games, but Russia is running out of reserves while NATO is not. So they go all in. The muscovites plan on gaining as much from Donetsk as they can and hope for a peace deal so they can get the resources of Donetsk.

But this plan has some serious logical flaws, like every plan they made so far. Because it is mostly wishful thinking at this point.

The US entered South Vietnam, which was at the time an independent democratic republic , on invitation from its government to assist it with the defense of its borders from invasion by the north, an act of perfidy that violated a mutual UN-brokered agreement between the two countries.

Not once in the entirety of the 20-year Vietnam conflict did any US ground forces cross outside the lawfully recognized borders of south Vietnam or enter the borders of north Vietnam.

You can debate to the end of time whether the US participation in the Vietnam war was worthwhile, sensible or morally correct but trying to characterize it as an invasion is purely historical ignorance.

>They were 1) enacting violent anti-Russian policies in the LDPR
One: How do you enact policies in a territory you do not occupy?
Two: How is it in any way the business of the Russian Federation what happens within the sovereign and independent borders of the Republic of Ukraine? A race is not a state, policies affecting ukrainian citizens is not the concern of Russia, and if it took issue it has legitimate means to protest peacefully via the United Nations, which Russia remains a permanent security council member thereof.
>in the process of joining the EU
Which is Ukraine's sovereign right to pursue and not Russia's business. Ukraine is an independent republic and not within the purview or authority of the Russian Federation. Russia does not get a say in Ukraine's foreign or domestic policty
>forcibly ousting a democratically elected president
Ukraine is hardly the only country in history to oust an unpopular leader, and in this case rather than doing so via a bloody revolution or attempted coup (hello KGB in Moscow circa 1991), they ousted their unpopular leader with peaceful demonstrations and the leader was instead forced to resign when the police openly refused his orders to suppress it violently.

None of these excuses provide casus belli or paint Russia's actions as anything other than naked imperialist aggression seeking to impose domestic and foreign policy on an independent neighbour, which Russia's leadership refuses to see as an independent neighbour and not a puppet despite signing multiple treaties explicitly recognizing the legitimacy of the Republic of Ukraine and making ironclad guarantees to not invade it. Treaties it unilaterally repudiated on flimsy pretense only after already unilaterally violating them

Vietnam wasn't partitioned by the allies after WW2. It was partitioned by the United Nations with mutual consent from both the north and south after the Franko-viet war.
At the time, Vietnam was a french colony clamouring for independence. A communist uprising in the north backed by the soviet union and the PRC became a civil war when the wealthy cities in the south largely sided with the french. After an embarrassing defeat, the french sued for a negotiated settlement. The UN mediated an agreement between the french, the south and the north in which France would leave the country and abandon all claims to it, and the two countries would be officially recognized and welcomed into the UN with their borders set roughly along the line of actual control by their respective militaries.

The North never intended to respect the treaties it had signed and immediately began a long insurgency against the south that gradually escalated into full-scale mutual combat. It was a full decade into this undeclared act of naked aggression that the US would intervene to assist the south in maintaining its territorial integrity. The south had long urged for US intervention because it was filled with educated metropolitain citizens who did not want to live under a communist dictatorship, and recognized the north for what it was: a soviet puppet expanding a Moscow-based empire.

Ironically it was only due to the long and costly war that the north Vietnamese would wage against US forces in South Vietnam that relations between Ho Chi Minh and the Kremlin would sour, exactly as relations between Mao and Stalin had soured during the Korean War, and led to both the USSR cutting ties with Vietnam and the PRC invading it after the end of the Vietnam War. But North America to this day is filled with south vietnamese refugees and their descendants, who fled their homeland rather than face communist rule.

>You've got US military bases all over your country.
Extant at the express request of the German government, who openly and willingly asks the US for security assistance in deterring Russia.
There are also French, Canadian and British bases all over Germany for the same reason.
>The German constitution was written by Americans
The Reichstag has the power to amend its constitution just as all independent nations do and has in fact done so repeatedly within our lifetime. The US does not dictate German legislative process
>the government is blahblah
Wait was the democratically elected German government allowed to dictate its own domestic policy or not? I'm getting mixed messages here.

Please tell your supervisor you need more training. An hour and a half of this shit and all your shillspeak is milquetoast.

She is a centrist liberal, just like pretty much every other leader in Europe, even if some call themselves conservatives or socialists. Btw, you sound like a boomer when you call a centre-right party "socialist". It's the sort of thing Americans say that makes Europeans roll their eyes, but here you are, saying it yourself.

>I also admire the lack of attempt to refute the fact that all the refugees that came to Europe were from shitholes destabilized by Russia and that it was in fact Russia that started the refugee crisis by bombing the shit out of Aleppo.

Russia supported Syria's sane secular leader who ruled with an iron fist, while the US funded and armed the rebels who destabilized the country.

Uh... no? Germans didn't request to be occupied in 1945, but I guess they kind of brought it on themselves in a way by getting too ambitious. The bases have been there ever since, and they're not leaving no matter how kindly Germans ask.

>constitution just as all independent nations do and has in fact done so repeatedly within our lifetime. The US does not dictate German legislative process

You see, that's why the bases are there. If the German parliament or government does something that Washington doesn't approve of, they'll be reminded very quickly who's in charge.

>>the government is blahblah

The puppet government, obviously.

Again, they are an organization that was ostensibly founded as a defensive alliance, yet claims it needs to expand in order to protect itself from big bad Russia.

>Why does Putin never talk about NATO, but rather has to talk about some ancient made up history from 700 years ago?
Putin has talked plenty about NATO, but the world didn't just start existing 80 years ago. Putin is a history buff who knows his shit, and context matters.

Americans are confused when Putin talks about things that happened so long ago because as far as most of us are concerned, history began with the Mayflower.

No. The countries that are threatened by Russia are joining in so they don't get attacked by Russia.

>hundreds of billions of dollars
The total value of all aid sent to Ukraine for the last 3 years from all countries is around 130 billion dollars. Total. For everybody. For comparison, the annual budget for NATO in 2024 was 1.4 trillion dollars.

Since you're a Russian diaspora shill and therefore cannot do basic math, I will explain: the entire world's combined military aid to Ukraine for 3 years is equivalent to less than 10% of NATO's annual budget in just 2024. And most of that amount is from US contributions, from US stockpiles, which simply drives the US military industrial complex to replace the donated weapons.

Basically, NATO has funded this war with its spare change, using old stockpiles, which is simply an excuse for the US's military contractors to make money by replacing those stockpiles. This entire war, which is life or death for Ukraine, and increasingly desperate for Russia, is just a business opportunity to America.
>>
>>521574125
>Before the stupid invasion most European countries were very critical towards the NATO.

none of these countries can be trusted to be independent.

They are also far too insufferable to be protected by us.

The only available option is ukraine, finland and the baltics must live under a Russian yoke.

lol the shit you Russians come up with. Do tell. Why is NATO collapsing this time? Russia unironically saved NATO from Trump's skepticism of it with his chimp out invasion. No Russian invasion in 2022, and it's likely support for NATO would've eroded before 2030. Now it's guaranteed to stick around for the rest of the century.

It's galling how they don't even try to make up reasons why it's better to be a Russian slave, they just openly say they want to enslave you, rob your country, gut its industry, and turn the people into serfs and then get angry when you imply this is a bad thing. Russians simply cannot coexist with modernity.

No, it was an independent republic that broke away from the collapsing soviet union in 1991, just as Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the Russian Federation did.

For some reason it seems like every time a Muscovian empire implodes, the ensuing era is filled with some rump state trying to remake the empire by invading its neighbours.
