Whenever a politician steps in and starts making military decisions which go against the advice of actual Military experts, it always inevitably leads to disaster for the countries they lead."We need to capture this objective""We need to defend this point at all costs"These are a couple of examples of the retarded orders a Politician might demand of his generals in circumstances where it isn't feasible, realistic, or maybe even possible to do it.Zelensky's order to invade Kursk last year is a good example of this. Ukrainian commanders like Syrski were against this and thought it was foolish, but nonetheless they did their duty and obeyed Zelensky's order anyway. The result? Many thousands of Ukrainians died and lots of equipment was lost in order to create a temporary PR media victory of "invading Russia". And what was even worse, is everything Ukraine sent into Kursk to create that temporary PR media victory meant that the Donbass was poorly defended, so the Russians ended up advancing much more rapidly than they would have if Zelensky focused on a strong defense there rather than a foolish offense.Hitler made the same mistake 80 years ago also at Kursk, when he decided to attack that salient. This attack was delayed and the Soviets had ample time to dig in and fortify their positions. Hitler's staff told him it was foolish to attack because the moment had passed, but Hitler ordered the attack be carried out anyway. Why? Because Hitler was desperate for a PR media win after that defeat at Stalingrad. The Germans lost the battle of Kursk, and the forces they lost in that failed offense could have been better used on the defense to try to fend off Operation Bagration.Politicians think of things in purely political terms, and this ends up being a disaster when it goes against the military reality.
Name a leader that fucked over his country more than zelensky
Have you considered you only notice the examples where it doesn’t work out? Caesar, Cromwell, plenty of politicians turned commanders that were successful.
>>521863518You're aware that the Ukraine farce is intended to merely destroy the breeding population of Ukraine for resettling, right? The men are dying. The ones who left have nothing to come back to. The women are raising families elsewhere in Europe. Again, they've nothing to come back to. Ukraine will be de-mined, courtesy of the US taxpayer, and resettled by jews.

Not to mention he only cares for PR that looks good like the whole Krynki meat grinder which Ukraine admits they lost 1000 marines for nothing. This dumb fuck thinks he has infinite goyim at his disposal. Syrksi is his yes man and there a reason Ukrainians troops call him General 200 that nigger loves to send mobiks tot here deaths. This is what happens when you allow a Jew and his goons to run your country.

>>521863797>Have you considered you only notice the examples where it doesn’t work out? Caesar, Cromwell, plenty of politicians turned commanders that were successful.I don't know much about Cromwell right off hand, but Caesar actually had a military career and military experience before entering politics. One might say the same about Hitler, but Hitler had no officer training. He was never anything more than a corporal. Zelensky doesn't even have that much.

>>521863518>Whenever a politician steps in and starts making military decisions which go against the advice of actual Military experts, it always inevitably leads to disaster for the countries they lead.Hitler went against his General Staff to force the plan for making the attack on Holland a feint, and for going with risky attacks like Eben Emael. He didn't come up with the idea but the generals who did were young rookies with no reputation yet. Without Hitler, France would not have fallen in 4 weeks. Hitler didn't just intervene once, he was constantly intervening throughout the war and was usually right. They "lost" at Kursk because the allies had broken their codes, and US/UK attacked Italy as a spoiling attack so they were short on men. The generals wanted a career after the war so they blamed their failures on those who were too dead to correct the record.

>>521863518and after fucking them, preventing them from making peace, they will drag this out to get as many of them killed as possible, even though they were good allies and helped in gwot. absolutely makes me sick to my stomach. how is this not about as big of a black eye for the country as possible? i bet we end up having to kill the soldiers that end up having enough of this shit and try to stop it, as a nice cherry on top

>>521863991>Hitler didn’t override his officersHitler fired Walther von Brauchitsch as supreme commander of the German army and appointed himself to that position after Brauchitsch failed to capture Moscow in Operation Barbarossa. >>521864503>Zelensky is retard his order 227 has gotten the AFU jammed in numerous costly last stands.Much like Hitler's "Festung" strategy in the later stages of the war.
>>521865566>yeah except hitler was a decorated veteran, not a comedian.Hitler was a corporal during WW1. He wasn't a high ranking officer and didn't have officer's training or experience. He did receive an Iron Cross for bravery. He may have been an ideal soldier, but there's a vast distance between an ideal soldier and an ideal officer. He could have been the greatest soldier of all time, but that doesn't mean he would make a great fieldmarshal, or even just a competent one. The outcome of WW2 shows how that dunning-kruger mindset played out.Ironically, Stalin's approach to the war was the complete opposite. Stalin meddled heavily in Soviet military decisions at the start of the war, but less and less so as the war progressed. Stalin seems to have acknowledged he was out of his depth when it came to military matters, but Hitler never acknowledged his own lack of depth. Even to the very end of the war he blamed his subordinates for their failure to carry out his impossible orders, like his order to Steiner to relieve the siege on Berlin.
>>521866484>just because he lost doesnt mean he wasnt a great general. he just wasnt a perfect one. all generals in history made mistakesHe made a lot of catastrophic mistakes. The funny thing is he was an admirer of Napoleon and well read on Napoleon's campaigns, but rather than learn from the mistakes Napoleon made, he emulated them. When Napoleon made his mistakes to begin with he had the excuse that he was establishing a precedent, but someone who came after him should have learned from that history.
