1776-1913, everything was amazing, America became the most powerful and prosperous country in the world. Then they instituted an income tax and a central bank and fought 2 world wars and destroyed themselves.

South America was never even alive. Japan ran out of steam in the 80s. Korea in the 90s. Vietnam and parts of SEA still on the rise but they aren't even regional powers. I think part of the reason America is rotting is simply a lack of competition for decades now.
