Fisher, 27, was arrested on the following charges, as stated in a release from the Bath Police Department:Burglary in the third degree, a class D felonyGrand larceny in the third degree, a class D felonyTampering with physical evidence, a class E felonyOfficials say Fisher was charged with the crimes after an incident of theft that occurred at the Taco Bell on West Morris Street in Bath. Officials say the incident was reported on Aug. 11, 2025, at which time police were called to the restaurant for an employee reporting that all of the money from the safe was missing.After a months-long investigation into the incident, officials say it was determined that Fisher was let go from the restaurant days before the burglary occurred. Further, officials say it was determined that Fisher had broken into the Taco Bell in the early morning on Aug. 11, stolen over $3,000 in cash from the safe and then deleted the security camera footage to hide the crime.
