A lot of body builders age fast, die young from heart problems or become cripples in their 40s to 50s, a lot of those exercises will ruin your back and joints and I wouldn't trust half those supplements, let alone steroids that ruin your heart and destroy your bodies natural ability to produce testosterone.

Not to be confused with being active, fit and eating healthy... Which comes with working in a lot of blue collar trades. Some of the most practically strong people I have known are working rednecks like farmers, roughnecks, loggers and some construction workers.

Forearms
Neck
Glutes

These muscle groups will subconsciously make you more attractive, you don't need to train any other muscle groups. Focusing on these three will save you a lot of time and effort while maximizing your results.

You're kind of right. I occasionally hunt the mountains. This involves carrying a fairly heavy pack and rifle through rough terrain. Since going to the gym regularly, and doing traditional bro split workouts, my endurance in the field has improved dramatically. Am I as capable as a guy who rucks regularly? No. But the strength training does translate to the woods.
Id also say that a huuuge percentage of SF guys these days are on gear. I went to a green beret charity shoot a few years back - all of them had 34 inch waists with 48 inch chests. Not advocating steroids (I dont take them), but the idea that they only improve aesthetics or gym performance is flat out wrong.
