The first Boomer had hands so shaky it took him a full five minutes to unfold a coupon from his back pocket and count out $24. Then. He reached for a change purse he had stuffed in another pocket and began to count out exact change. I nearly died as he kept dropping coins since he had no ability to hold them. And was ungrateful as I collected them from the floor and returned them to him. The next Boomer was a woman who when asked what size she would like her drink got flustered and kept repeating "Regular Size..... Regular Size!" When she was presented with a medium cup she threw her hands up and exclaimed, "That's not a regular!" And turned around and made eye contact with me as if I would nod my head in agreement. I just stared at her milky eyes with murder on my mind. Just 10 more years. I kept saying to myself as I drove home.
