Can /pol/ REDpill on the difference between Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering? Is it still worth pursuing a degree in any of the three in the year 1938+87 AD?

>computer science
thinking about programming but not actually doing or using it
>computer engineering
never heard of the phrase before
>software engineering
actually programming
>is it worth pursuing a degree
yeah, but a bit sketchy in the united states
there are still jobs and they still value these degrees, but they're all jeeting themselves because the CEOs want short term "profits" and meek slaves to abuse
it's been a while since i applied this, but i last made most of my money writing smart contracts for EVM blockchains (Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, Arbitrum One, Base)
or, learn FORTH and be worshipped as a god because the only people that know that left are senile and dying and our entire mortgage system runs on FORTH-programmed mainframes

oops, meant COBOL, not FORTH
learn COBOL
if you're a brown mexican, you will have a massive amount of opportunity here
the browner the better
