They'll turn their eye toward the Europeans, who promised them that if they take on Russia that EU could help them win with their combined economic and military power. After their great victory over the Asiatic Hordes Ukraine would be rewarded with a seat at the EU table and all of the benefits thereof, finally fulfilling their great dream of larping as continental homosexuals and doing drugs with Germans and Spanish people.Russia instead beat not only Ukraine but all of Europe. The Euros aren't worried about Russia attacking the EU - they know that is ridiculous. Something like 10 million Ukrainians already live in Russia, not including the ones in Donbass. The pro-Russians left in Hoholstan are mostly old Soviets. From what I read there is very little taste for reconciliation among Russians - they are quite angry with the Ukranians. Chechens were fighting for themselves at least, which is respectable. Ukraine spent a decade hating Russians and attacking them, then did unspeakable terrorism and cultural warfare since 2022. Ukrainians may well want to suck up to the Russkies but they're not going to let them back into the house for a long time. The same goes for Europe.
